Does Ellie in Space know what happened to Apollo 1?
Or that the first manned Apollo mission was Apollo 7?
It was Apollo 11 that landed men on the Moon
In this week's Avid Space Starship update, vehicle production continues at a steady pace while SpaceX gears up for the flight 15 static fire campaigns. Meanwhile, over in Florida, SpaceX looks to grow the footprint of their production facilities while also adding on new test facilities. The First Catch of Starship is Almost Here! | 9:35

*** Does Ellie in Space know what happened to Apollo 1?***
Obviously not.
From Google AI:
What were Apollo 1-6 missions?
The Apollo 1 through Apollo 7 missions were the initial phase of NASA’s Apollo program to test spacecraft, rockets, and systems leading up to human spaceflight:
• Apollo 1 (January 27, 1967): An unlaunched, pre-flight test that ended in tragedy when a flash fire swept through the cabin during a launch rehearsal, killing astronauts Gus Grissom, Edward H. White II, and Roger B. Chaffee. The disaster led to major safety overhauls of the Command and Service Module (CSM). (Missions 2 and 3 were unassigned or skipped).
• Apollo 4 (November 9, 1967): The first successful uncrewed all-up test flight of the massive Saturn V rocket.
• Apollo 5 (January 22–23, 1968): An uncrewed test flight in Earth orbit that verified the descent and ascent engines and staging of the first Lunar Module (LM).
• Apollo 6 (April 4, 1968): The second and final uncrewed test of the Saturn V rocket. Despite severe engine and structural vibration anomalies during ascent, it gathered critical engineering data.
And I was there! ...well, for the takeoff, not the landing. 😎
DEI mainly.
Its a deceiving title...i originally had your thoughts in mind when i read the title but what they are referring to is Apollo 11 was fueled once, lifted off, went to the moon and returned...
Starship will need to be refueled in space 6 or 7 times to make the same trip....
I did not watch the whole video but the Apollo rockets looked a lot bigger than Starship, whose fuel tanks are obviously smaller- i may need to be checekd on that but just my observation...
guess i’m wrong as Starship is almost twice the size of Apollo, which would mean they would need a lot more fuel...
I guess that makes you a hard sale on the ' Moon Landing Was Fake ' conspiracy theory?

I had this scale model back in the 70s
unfortunately led lights and easy sound effects did not exist.
Because Appollo was a maney laundering operation that required $50 billion for each launch?
Probably in part because the advancements of technology is allowing Elon to launch multiple times and still have it cheaper,
yes- i corrected myself in this thread...
That's ONE (1) Apollo launch to get to the moon versus EIGHT (8) Starship launches!
The numbers do not refer to the sequential order of launches, just the QUANTITY of launches per each vehicle.
