Bush II appointee. No surprises.
98% of this nation’s lawyers are Maoists....99% of this nation’s judges are Maoists.
98% of this nation’s lawyers are Maoists....99% of this nation’s judges are Maoists.
Judge Kathleen Cardone is an enemy of the American people and deserves what comes with that.
The same to whomever brought the lawsuit.
Imagine if such a situation existed during WW2. We’d still be trying to get our first Liberty ship built.
Incredible, unchecked power of federal judges. Law school makes them wise beyond belief! Never push back or consequences. They are more powerful than POTUS!
I’m pretty sure the idea of putting a border wall in Big Bend was shelved long ago. The lefties see a couple of bulldozers in Big Bend that are adding to or improving a few dirt roads and they freak-out. This is a manufactured crisis to propagate the usual “orange man bad” theme.
Judge Kathy
Declare it a national security matter and go forth telling the judge if she interferes one more time, she goes to jail.
Enough of this nonsense already.
JUST BUILD THE DAMN WALL!!!!!
Jorge Arbusto appointee.
“In August 2021, Cardone issued a temporary injunction in the case U.S. vs Texas and Greg Abbott against an executive order by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to have Texas state troopers stop vehicles suspected of carrying illegal immigrants, who might be infected with COVID-19”
La Raza “judge”.
“ only sees between 1% and 3% of migrant apprehensions by U.S. Customs and Border Protection each year.”
It is a long border and if this area sees 1-3% of all apprehensions that is a significant amount. Additionally, it is counting apprehensions not the total that cross there.
There's your problem ...
Which Republican appointed these idiots doesn't seem to matter much. Even Reagan and Trump appointed their share of judicial dolts ...
Continue building anyway. Rogue judge, if Obeyme /Bidumb appointee autopen then their so-called ruling is a farce. Force their hand.
We are in conflict with a country whose leaders desire the hellish annihilation of nuclear strikes across the entire globe.
There cannot be another mass influx of foreign nationals of military age and training (CCP, KGB, Muz) / agents gaining access with our southern border ever again.
Time to warm up the A-10s, Apaches, etc and get ready to start bombing the living crap out of a very wide area so that there is a literal crater-populated smoke-rising no-man’s-land. National park my little bohunkus. Yeaaahhhh right
Yup! A couple A-10’s would do.
Noooo. Mines. Cheaper and impossible to detect before they go “click”.
Don’t even need to put them in. Just post signs and set off a timed grenade every day or so — that will enforce the belief.
Just another regal judge proving Congre$$ is useless.
Trump’s decade-old campaign promise of a wall currently spans 38% of the 1,954-mile border dividing the United States and Mexico, or about 750 miles. Some of that was built prior to his first presidency.
About 87 new miles of border wall were built under Trump’s first term, although he also replaced 371 miles of the existing wall.
Prior to Trump’s first term in office, about 654 miles of the U.S.-Mexico border wall was built under the presidencies of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. That includes about 345 miles of pedestrian fence and about 300 miles of vehicle barriers.
As of Aug. 19, there are about 747 miles of primary wall and about 126 miles of secondary wall along the border, according to CBP.
Construction plans
Much of the U.S.-Mexico border is separated by a natural barrier: the Rio Grande River.
The Trump administration has built about 26 miles of a waterborne barrier system, which consists of large floating buoys that link together. More than 500 additional miles are either under construction or planned, per CBP.
About 308 miles of new primary border wall are under construction, according to the CBP, and plans for 255 more miles have been awarded. An additional 525 miles of secondary border wall are also under construction or planned.
“Border wall construction is planned for completion in 2028,” a CBP spokesperson told the Get the Facts Data Team via email.
