Texas U.S. Senate hopefuls Ken Paxton (R) and James Talarico (D) are neck and neck in a poll released just days after a previous poll had the Democrat in the lead.
A Stratus Intelligence survey conducted from September 22-24 among 865 likely voters in the upcoming November election concluded that Paxton, the Republican Texas attorney general, and Talarico, a Democrat state legislator, each have 48 percent support, with 4 percent undecided.
Paxton’s image was rated 41 percent favorable versus 55 percent unfavorable, compared with Talarico’s 46 percent favorable and 49 percent unfavorable.
While the Republican leads among voters aged 55 and older, Talarico is leading the younger crowd.
The poll, which was sponsored by Texans for a Conservative Majority, also found that Republican candidates lead in the six other statewide executive races included in the survey:

I don’t think that poll is real. They report the pole to try and create social permission to vote for Talarico.
I know polls are biased, but still. This guy should be laughed off the face of the earth.
Beto was a more likeable/less weird candidate. Both of them have terrible political positions of course and deserve no support. It should not be a contest. I am amazed at the closeness of elections. What a large contingent of commies and ne’er do wells we have.
There are only so many things politicians can do. a lot of this is on the pastors and the disunity in the church. There is no way this should be close.
He is the Deep State candidate. He and Z-Man could play a duet.
For once, Talarico is not leading in a poll. Maybe the effect of the GOP money finally coming in is starting to help Paxton.
The pacs have been hitting him hard on the trans crap. “Too weird for Texas.” “He’s for they/them, not us.”

The next election is up in 2032. The Democrats will replace Fetterman in the primary and they don’t care if they’ll lose the seat in PA in two years from now even though Fetterman is a reliable supporter of their platform (other than Israel and the Iran war).

I would have gladly voted for Cornyn over Talirico, and I was one of the first here to jump on the Trump Train.
The worst Republican is light years better than the best Democrat
Any time, any place a RINO is thrown out by his own party it is a beautiful thing. Now if we could only multiply it by hundreds in the fed and state levels we’d have a much better country.
If it’s tied, Paxton will win by 6 or more points, based on the historical record and the Senate service of Beto O’Rourke.
One of the hallmarks of fudged (please excuse my French) Dumbocrat election polls is their surprising closeness. We may recognize this fakery as an artifact of Dims simply quitting counting hidden ballots once they've drug their candidate over the 50.1% threshold, or whatever percentage precludes a recount.

Yep. I knew it would be trouble when Paxton announced he was gonna run.
A lot of Freepers blew off his cheating and said that's just his personal life, etc. but I knew it would matter. It wasn't a one-time indiscretion, it was repeated.
This kind of stuff matters to many people. Particularly conservative women, but many men as well.
