with my paltry $31.56 , we’re down to needing 996 x $31.56, jack Smith won’t be able to subpoena our checks , at least , using Zelle.

Not every bank allows you use Zelle. On my on-line bank account, I click “pay” at the top. A drop down appears, it says “pay by Zelle. You enter the account FR has a top of forum page ( What I’m posting here is not a link, you have to cut and paste the email address for the form page) , then fill in your amount. Within minutes, you a confirmation from your banak, , first on your account page, then by email. And FR as alwys, also confirms.

Well it did show up as a link, but that won’t help you contribute, you have to go to your on-line bank account and do it from there. BTW I prefer to use Zelle to send gifts and things because I had a check stolen in U.S mail
I am trying to donate with zelle. What do I use for first and last name. Jim Robinson did not work. Chris Robinson did not work. If I went under business and entered Free Republic, then the email, that did not work either.
BTW , there’s no interest or fee.
the email at the top of the page in red, copy and paste it. AAs you can see by my typos, I find that much safer than letting my fingers do the walking.
I used the email just as is. It gave me a message that the information was already taken.
You can give as little as $5. as Sage used to say, that makes you a hero around here. Make sure you use the email at the top of the page, I hope no hackers get on here and try to exploit with false email addresses

Can you explain how you donate? I have an auto-pay set up with USAA to send a bank check on or about the 10th of each month.
I use Zelle payments for family and friends. I don't have paypal or Apple pay.
I found it, but I am not giving anybody access to my bank account. I don’t want more avenues for fraud.

it usually updates fast and lets you know it’s gone through, One time ,it didn’t le know for an hour or so, I know that’s nerve wracking, but I guess it happens. Both my donations to FR on zelle have gone through instantaneously.
Venmo lets you do that.IO’ve only done that once. I think Zelle is like writing a check or making on line paymentto credit card company or electric company.
I did not open an account at Venmo when I donated by CC, I just did it as guest status or something.

You younger guys may not realize it , but Venmo, Zelle ar e a little intimidating to us that hadn’t experience with them. paying on-line directly on bills , or by phone or even by check has always worked for us. BTW, I’m not saying that anyone to whom Zelle is new is necessarily wary by reason of age.
