He highlights survivor Nicole, the first person to speak out in his “The Rape of Britain” series. Her willingness to describe the rape, torture, and abuse she suffered encouraged many other survivors to come forward, leading to a four-part series. He stresses that the real courage belongs to the survivors (men and women), not to him or others who simply platform the stories. He notes that after Phil spoke publicly the previous year, around 30 men contacted him for support.
Robinson criticizes authorities for covering up child abuse cases. He describes a recent case of a 57-year-old English woman who was dragged into an alley in daylight, raped, left unconscious, beaten with wood, raped again after the attacker bought alcohol, then taken to her home and raped once more. He says the perpetrator (identified as Muslim) had a long prior record of similar offenses against vulnerable girls and women dating back to 2005–2006 in Dewsbury (where police took no action), a 2010 park rape, and later imprisonment with warnings of public danger—yet he was released and remains free in the community.
He focuses on what he calls Islamic/Muslim rape/grooming gangs, stating he has researched the issue for years with Peter McLaughlin (co-author of related books). He claims the pattern is not recent but dates back at least a century: documented cases from 1916–1919 involving Bengali Muslims in East London cafés and Somalis in Cardiff exploiting and raping young English girls brought from other cities; similar accounts in books from the 1930s–1950s; and newspaper reports of trials of Muslim men for child rape in the 1940s–1970s (e.g., multiple cases in Newcastle even when the local Muslim population was small). He argues authorities were aware but failed to act, partly out of fear of community unrest or riots (citing historical examples of Somali and Arab riots).
While acknowledging that all child abusers are equally reprehensible, he maintains the organized gang pattern is disproportionately linked to Muslim perpetrators (historically Bengali, Somali, Iraqi, etc.; today mostly Pakistani due to UK demographics). He announces upcoming investigative work and a book release in about four weeks.
He closes by praising the crowd for standing up, encouraging continued support so that more survivors feel able to report to police, and thanking the organizers and attendees.
The video has roughly 17k views, 4.4k likes, and supportive comments from viewers at the time of the page data. The speech is advocacy-oriented, critical of institutional responses to child sexual exploitation (especially grooming gangs), and frames the issue as longstanding and inadequately addressed.
