San Pedro Sula – A Honduran news outlet has reported: A caravan of approximately 400 Hondurans departed from the Gran Central Metropolitana bus terminal in San Pedro Sula bound for the United States, seeking better living conditions and opportunities for their families.
People from different parts of the country began to gather at the bus terminal, from where they began their journey to US territory.
Among the members of the caravan are families with children, who decided to begin the migration route despite the difficulties and risks involved in the journey to the United States.
The high cost of living and limited job opportunities in Honduras are among the reasons given for undertaking the journey, with the expectation of finding employment and improving their economic conditions.
According to local media, the group of people plans to undertake the entire journey to the border starting tomorrow, but their mobilization began from the industrial capital.
Information about the caravan continues to develop as the migrants move forward as a group .

The United States is the largest purchaser of Honduran products, representing about 45% of that country’s exports. President Trump needs to remind his Honduran counterpart of that fact and of the ability to impose very high tariffs unless the Honduran police stop the caravans. The invaders also have to go through Guatemala. The United States purchases 33% of that country’s exports. Guatemala should get the same message.
