This week I visited a Prefab Home that gets delivered in a shipping container in two pieces then unfolds and gets built in 3 hours. This is the Unfold House, a 19'2 x 25' prefab home with 12+ foot ceilings that make it feel incredibly spacious. It has a wall of windows on the front, a shed room and a look that I think people will like. In this video I look at the build, talk about how it's set up and get into the pricing. If it has room for a toilet, sink, and shower stall along with a stove and fridge, I could live with it.

Unfortunately I don’t know how sturdy it would be in moderately severe weather. Would a 60 MPH wind gust take it apart?

Both use a bucket. If you are well-off, they are separate buckets.

At 19’2 x 25’ having 12’ ceilings, both the walls and the flat roof would need to be in pieces to fit within a container. That means every panel has a seam.

How do they seal them?

If it’s built in three hours, that’s not enough time to seal and blend the seams in walls and ceiling. I don’t see any seams in the interior shot. Did they blur those?
