Given the animosity between him and Trump it would be more of a shock if he was speaking or attending.
Good. If Bush were there, he probably just babble on about “Islam is peace” again.
What an idiot he was, and is.
The event, the party's first-ever midterm convention, is billed as a celebration of Trump's America First agenda. It's scheduled for Sept. 9-10 at the American Airlines Center — and KERA reports that Bush has previously scheduled plans to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
good
They only want actual Republicans to speak.

The purpose of the convention is to get voters to vote Republican. Inviting W to speak would defeat the purpose.
Mission accomplished.
It’s no surprise that GWB will not be speaking at this impromtu Mid-Term ‘convention’, knowing how much he despises President Trump. A second reason his absence could have been predicted is for the last few years, it seems that GWB has maintained an ever smaller public profile. For a long while, I have always wondered if George W. Bush suffered some kind of mental or emotional breakdown after leaving office in Jan. 2009.
There are several instances where he made public appearances all Buddies up with Michelle Obama, and gave the impression of someone addlebrained. One day, it will come out. The Democrats were horrible to him year after year, led by Hillary Clinton. That level of sustained public ridicule could hollow out the ego and damage the spirit of anyone.
Awesome news I dont want his ass there
Yay
He’s probably too busy hugging up to Moosechelle’s big ..
He’ll probably be busy celebrating 9/11 with El-Kabong and with Butchie El-Kabong’s butt boy, Asshat the Piker.
“Former President George W. Bush is not expected to be among the speakers at next week’s Republican Party convention in Dallas”. George is busy looking for WMD’s in Iraq.
Islam is a religion of peace.
Good.
Bush betrayed the conservative base when he joined the never-Trumpers.
He’ll speak at the Dem Convention. He gives to Dem causes.
