The Simple Question Socialism Couldn't Answer [25:44]

Earth is 71% water, 29% land, and only a fraction of it is useful. Scarcity—and who owns what—drives every economic system humans have ever built.

From Karl Marx writing Das Kapital in deep poverty to the 28-year natural experiment inside divided Berlin, we trace how socialism evolved from a radical economic theory into a system governing a third of the planet—and why central planning keeps running into the exact same problem.

The only agenda of socialists is the pursuit of unfettered power.

but... but... but...

” ‘Real’ Communism has never been tried yet! How can everyone keep criticising it if they’ve never actually TRIED the genuine version?!” blah blah blah...

That’s been the go-to argument for well over a century now, and it never seems to wear out.

“Real” communism HAS been tried, usually in small settings such as Plymouth and Jamestown, the Oneida Community, hippie communes filled with folks who studied Marx and wanted it to work, KNEW it would work yet still failed and large countries like Russia and China where it was quickly realized that you had to enforce the wonders of communism with guns, prisons and death for non-believers.

So yeah...it fails every single time.
