Innocent 23-Year-Old Jailed for Fatal Crash Because She Drove a Dodge Durango (FLOCK)

In a terrifying legal saga out of Volusia County, Florida, a 23-year-old woman spent 13 miserable days in jail for a fatal hit-and-run she had absolutely nothing to do with. The only crime she committed? Driving a black Dodge Durango on the interstate.

On October 4, 2025, a horrific chain-reaction crash on I-4 resulted in the deaths of three people, including Flagler County Deputy Administrator Jorge Salinas, his wife, and a motorcyclist named Joaquin “Deno” Deno. The vehicle that triggered the crash and fled the scene was identified by a witness as a Dodge Durango.

Instead of a comprehensive investigation, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) allegedly leaned heavily on a single Flock camera ping. The license plate reader placed 23-year-old Lindsey Isaacs’ black 2025 Dodge Durango on I-4 roughly three miles west of the crash site around the time of the incident.

Despite Isaacs insisting she had nothing to do with the crash and hadn’t been anywhere near the collision, investigators locked onto her. FHP troopers swore in arrest warrant affidavits that her Durango had damage consistent with the collision. Isaacs was arrested six months later, denied bond, and thrown into solitary confinement for a triple vehicular homicide.

Isaacs has since had all charges dropped and has been released, though her attorney notes the trauma of being falsely incarcerated on no bond will likely stick with her for a long time. She is now pursuing civil action against the authorities.

Flock cameras need to be destroyed or outlawed.

Our ancestors did much more with less tyranny then we see today

Shoddy police work is not the fault of the flock cameras..

Lawsuit coming, and rightly so.

I see flock cameras exposing crooked cops - another win

She doesn’t need to just sue the cops. That’s a hard row due to various laws making it near impossible.

Instead she should the hell out of the Flock camera system owners. They do not have all the legal protections.

A jury would destroy Flock.

Massive punitive damage awards against Flock is the only weapon we have.

Looking on the bright side....she just won the lottery! I’d spend 2 weeks in jail for a million dollars (plus).

Shoddy police work is no excuse for an all-encompassing surveillance state.

We'll put you down for the next one to be thrown in jail.

You may want to start paying your bills in advance in case they hold you more than 30 days.

Why are you posting it here?

Because this is a purportedly free country.

So, what are you doing in it?

North Korea has great surveillance and very low crime because of that. I suggest you emigrate.

My study of this issue is inconclusive at this time. But AI search engine says that FLOCK security system likewise uses AI.

Nothing wrong with the cameras. They are great! Problem was with the lazy investigators. Unless she had warrants outstanding or a prior hit and rum or prior felony, she should never have even been arrested much less held on probable cause.

I wonder what she now thinks of Flock Cameras or the ‘rationale’ of ‘I’m good with them, since I have nothing to hide’.
