‘Muslim Brotherhood official website’ celebrates Abdul El-Sayed’s U.S. Senate primary victory

U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed’s win in Michigan’s Democratic primary on Tuesday is front page news for The Muslim Brotherhood, a designated global terrorist organization.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s official news site on Wednesday celebrated the former Wayne County health official’s victory over Congresswoman Haley Stevens, D-Birmingham, described as “one of the most prominent figures supporting the occupation within the Democratic Party.”

Ikhwan Online’s X account calls the site the “Muslim Brotherhood official website.”

“During his election campaign, (El-Sayed) focused on calling for the cessation of unconditional U.S. military aid to the Zionist occupation, criticizing the continued U.S. support in the war on the Gaza Strop and demanding that taxpayers’ money be redirected to domestic issues,” read the article, titled “Abdul Rahman al-Sayyid conquers the Zionists and runs for the Senate,” according to a Google translation.

“The primary elections highlighted the escalation of the division within the Democratic Party on the US policy towards the occupation, in light of the growing influence of the Progressive Current, which demands a reconsideration of US military support, in exchange for the continuation of the traditional current in adopting positions in support of the occupation,” the brotherhood wrote.

The article highlighted news reports suggesting Israel-aligned groups spent more than $61 million to support Stevens, compared to about $6.5 million spent in support of El-Sayed, and pointed to polling that suggests attitudes on Israel are shifting.

“Opinion polls by Reuters and Ipsos showed Democrats’ support for the occupation fell from 59 percent in 2018 to 22 percent in May, reflecting a marked shift in Democratic base trends,” the article read. “The victory of Abdul Rahman al-Sayed is seen as an indication of the rise of voices calling within the Democratic Party to reformulate the US policy towards the Zionist occupation, in light of the continuation of the war on the Gaza Strip and the resulting tens of thousands of victims and widespread destruction in the Strip.”

The news report follows documented ties between El-Sayed and groups identified by the federal government as fronts for or extensions of the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S.

Tayeb Jukaku, El-Sayed’s father in law who immigrated to the U.S. from India, donated $200,000 to a Fighting for Michigan PAC backing his son in law, accounting for nearly half the money raised by the PAC through the first quarter of 2026, the Washington Free Beacon reports.

Jukaku has served as a founding member of the Islamic Society of North America since at least 2007, around the time the organization was identified by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in the terrorism financing case USA v. Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development.

That case resulted in the conviction of the foundation’s founders for funneling $12 million to Hamas, with prosecutors identifying the ISNA as one of eight groups that were or are members of the US Muslim Brotherhood.

ISNA “was historically, no question, an organization created … by the Muslim Brotherhood and fellow travelers from the Indian subcontinent as basically the Islamist organization in America,” Lorenzo Vidino, director of the Program on Extremism at George Washington University, told the Free Beacon.

“To be on the founding committee, this is the elders of the organization,” he said.

Jakaku was also president of the Council on American-Islamic Relations’ Michigan chapter from 2005 to 2010, when CAIR was also named as a co-conspirator during the Holy Land Foundation trial. Jakaku is currently on the board of directors for CAIR Michigan.

“The Holy Land Foundation raised money for Hamas … using a joint bank account with the ISNA, which deposited checks into the account that were “often made payable to ‘the Palestinian Mujahadeen,’ the original name for the Hamas military wing,’” the Free Beacon reports, citing a July 2009 federal court ruling.

Jakaku has maintained strong ties with CAIR executive director Nihad Awad, who applauded Hamas’ efforts to “break the siege” with its Oct. 7, 2023 terrorist attack at CAIR Michigan’s annual banquet.

As the Muslim Brotherhood celebrated El-Sayed’s victory on Wednesday, a Senate Judiciary subcommittee highlighted the organizations networks and affiliates in the U.S., Jewish Insider reports.

“(Democrats’) campaign is now openly embracing terrorist organizations waging war on America,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said at the hearing. “Behind El-Sayed’s political rise sits a much older and more entrenched institutional network.”

Kyle Shideler, director for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism at the Center for Security Policy, highlighted Jakaku’s ties to groups affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, including CAIR.

El-Sayed’s victory on Tuesday “shows the success of the Muslim Brotherhood network over multiple decades,” he said. “It achieved what they said they were going to achieve, which was to normalize support for Hamas and normalize support for terrorism.”

He noted the Muslim Brotherhood, designated by the U.S. departments of State and Treasury as a terrorist organization, has united with groups like the Democratic Socialists of America with a “shared revolutionary objective of advocating for the overthrow of the U.S. Constitution.”

Cruz connected the Holy Land Foundation prosecution with widespread protests on college campuses across the U.S. led by pro-Hamas student groups. ISNA was launched in 1982 as an outgrowth of the Muslim Students Association, which was founded at the University of Michigan in 1963 with guidance from the Muslim Brotherhood before expanding nationwide.

“The Holy Land Foundation prosecution revealed that these organizations do not operate in isolation; they function as part of a broader Muslim Brotherhood ecosystem,” Cruz said. “The events we witnessed on college campuses after Oct. 7 (2023) did not emerge from nowhere. They were not spontaneous. They were not organic. They were the product of an organized network that has spent decades building influence inside the United States.”

Arielle Klepach, senior counsel at the National Jewish Advocacy Center, described that network as “a foreign terror-supporting movement on American soil, targeting our Constitution and our founding principles.”

“I would ask you to remember these three things: these organizations are dangerous, they are in our schools and they hide by abusing the very legal system they are working to dismantle,” she said.

The country is slipping from our fingers at an accelerated pace, and there doesn’t appear to be enough energy to fight it. This may require a reboot of the human race. The planet will be fine. The people on it are f*^*&^*&ed.

you go to the olympics and there are few muslim nations represented on the medal podiums.

Islam is the criminals’ cult. It celebrates and encourages the most base lizard brain impulses of man. Pedophilia, thievery, murder, chattel slavery, polygamy, rape... And all you have to do is stick your arse in the air a few times a day or blow yourself up and kill an infidel. No wonder why so many criminals join the cult.
