Grocery prices are insane. They’re still rising. Addressing this problem should be the number one priority of every elected leader. End the stupid foreign wars and focus on this issue. It’s one of the main reasons socialists are gaining power.— Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) August 3, 2026

Who is Matt Walsh?
“We’re so weak we have to borrow money (and from countries that hate us) to fight wars” is another good reason.
The war with Iran is an absolutely necessary and existential war that we should have fought decades ago. As it is, we waited till Israel could no longer prevent the sufficient enrichment of Uranium to a quantity necessary to make approximately 11 atomic bombs.
Does Matt Walsh think a nuclear armed Iran with it's fanatical religious nut-job leadership won't be a problem?
Matt Walsh is usually not an idiot. He needs to learn more about this issue so he can speak competently on the matter.
If it's a choice between a bad economy going into an election year, or tens of millions of dead Americans because the Jihad Jackasses decided they are ready to start the final big war (so that the Mahdi will return), then i'll pick the bad economy going into an election year.
bankwalker calls to “end posting emotional outbursts”.
Well, Matt, I think the problem is that pretty much all of the politicians regardless of their party affiliation have been spending other people’s money like the socialists that they are, and there is no leadership on the right, not even a decent, lighthearted optimistic spokesperson or personality in the bunch.
Instead conservatives sound like old embittered divorced guys, nothing inspirational about them.
Everyone is a debt slave, even the government. And that demotivated the entire country.
Try a search engine.

“Matt is obviously right, of course, except for two things. First, Trump does in fact bear much blame for high prices, even if not all the blame. During his first term, he initiated the COVID stimulus spending (continued under Biden) that helped set off the inflationary period of recent years. His haphazard tariff policies have contributed as well, and the Iran war has manifestly driven up the cost of fuel (and, indirectly, other things too, because rising fuel prices have a ripple effect). Furthermore, insofar as Trump has explicitly said that he does not want home prices to go down, he is an obstacle to measures that could help aspiring home buyers. His proposal to send out tariff rebate checks would also have contributed to inflation, and while it ended up not happening, that was due to forces outside his control, and it illustrates how he simply has no understanding of or interest in the affordability problem. So it is not just that prices have gone up due to factors outside his power, even if that is part of the story. He is also himself very much part of the problem. ...”

Mamdani became the mayor of New York last year before the Iran war.
The latest events are just the outcome of the democrat party. It has no other direction to go.
Nothing to do with Trump other than he makes them panic.
100%right! This stupid a** war Trump got us into is a disaster. We need to focus on the U.S. and not being Israel’s slave. Israel has been lying about Iran and everyone else near them being “two weeks” from a nuke for 40 freaking years!
Israel lies all the time and they don’t give a damn about us. They will sacrifice us and our soldiers to protect themselves. Israel is NOT our friend.
You know, I liked Matt Walsh when he understood what the definition of a woman is.
But now?
He’s starting to remind me of Tucker Carlson, MTG, and Candace Owens, always looking for a new revenue stream. Eyeballs and clicks pay the bills, so when your schtick gets a little old, they reinvent themselves. It’s about the Benjamins.
What in the world for? I mean, seriously. Is it a secret?
That is an idea I did not contemplate until you just said it. I would hope not, but as you said, we have other examples.
Sounds like a freshman college girl, talking about that yucky war stuff and national defense, men are so stupid with their guns and being mean.
Walsh can call for it but it isn’t going to happen.
Trump decided on a stupid gamble to initiate the Iran War with our little Middle East Buddy, who was going to start a war with or without us.
Trump popularity is currently terrible and the midterms are going to be a mess if the political & economic situation doesn’t change soon.
“I won’t hold be holding my breath.”
When I started to read your screech, I figured "Israel" would find it's way in their somewhere.
I think millions of dead people over here is *OUR* problem.
Or what? You didn't think the religious fanatics running Iran wouldn't attack the "Great Satan"?
Hell yes they would.
Part of the podcast thing is to be bold and radical, get the juices going, decisive red meat answers to problems, it may limit your audience some but it can create a rabid and loyal following, and advertisers want your listeners to buy their stuff.
A friend of Anuj Singh Kushwaha apparently
Why were they going to do that?
Yuge forever deficit spending is the problem.
