The White House on Tuesday released a sweeping summary of findings from the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, arguing that a laboratory-related incident remains the most likely origin of COVID-19 and accusing senior public health officials of shaping the public narrative around the virus’s emergence.
The release also renewed criticism of former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, EcoHealth Alliance, the National Institutes of Health, the World Health Organization and several federal and state agencies. It claimed key officials obstructed congressional investigations, mishandled oversight of high-risk research and failed to provide transparent guidance during the pandemic.
Lab leak focus
The White House said several lines of evidence support a laboratory origin for SARS-CoV-2. According to the release, the virus carries a biological feature not observed in nature and all known COVID-19 infections trace back to a single introduction into humans. The administration argued that previous pandemics typically involved multiple spillover events before widespread transmission.
Officials also pointed to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, China’s leading SARS research center, which conducted gain-of-function research under biosafety conditions they described as inadequate. The summary further stated that several researchers at the institute developed COVID-like symptoms months before cases emerged at Wuhan’s seafood market.

It was probably not a leak. The Chinese have always believed they have sufficient population to withstand mass deaths like that. Other nations cannot.

That doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. If it was deliberate, it seems they would have directly released it outside of China.
That’s cute. They asked “over half-a-dozen” self proclaimed experts, who study wild animals, and that conclude it would take a lot of coincidences to create a lab leak. How many intentional acts would it take?

Fauci sucks.
It does make sense if you realize the virus was specifically created to steal the 2020 election. In order for that to work , the fear of this virus had to be maximized. China went to the extremes to hype up the fear. Democrat governors put sick people in nursing homes to drive up the death rate.Americas were urged to wear masks in order to make that fear an obvious part of daily life. (Even though the masks were useless otherwise!). Even actual cures were censored (like Ivermectin because real cures would minimize the fear).
Sorry, I don’t buy that theory.
Stealing an election doesn’t require a pandemic.

I always thought the “accidental” leak explanation was more likely a deliberate leak. The MSM still labeling the leak explanation as an allegation is preposterous.
If intentional I would have expected them to have a vaccine ready or release it outside of China. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was something stupid like selling infected lab animals at that market instead of incinerating their bodies.
That is what Hillary thought, before her fixed election was lost. One of the reasons she trashed her hotel room in an uncontrollable rage the night she lost was her belief that with all thier clever cheating they could not lose .
After that loss the RATs and their Communist allies realized they had to kick up their cheating up a notch.
By creating enough fear to force mail in voting their plot worked. Mail in voting is the easiest way to cheat.
I might add they planned for their coup to become permanent. The first official bill of the Democratic Congress was to nationalize elections. Fortunately they could not get it thru the Senate . They also tried to kill the Filibuster so that things like their national election sabotage could pass the Senate.
