JD Vance has warned that 94 million "desperate people" could flood into Europe in the wake of the Iran war.
The US Vice President issued a fresh migration warning as he claimed a deal with Iran was needed to prevent another refugee crisis rocking the West.
Mr Vance argued that "conservative hawks" in the Republican Party - naming former Vice President Mike Pence - were attempting to "derail the deal" with the Iranian regime.
The Vice President said Donald Trump's critics did not provide any actual solutions to the Iran war.
"If you actually look at what they're proposing, they just want the military campaign to go on forever, and they can't actually identify what it is that they're trying to accomplish," he told Joe Rogan's podcast.
"None of them can identify what is they're trying to accomplish."
He argued that the US Government would not just "bomb them to oblivion", citing learnings from former President Barack Obama's 2011 intervention in Libya, which resulted in the violent death of Muammar Gaddafi.
Mr Vance said: "Libya basically turned into a failed state. You had a refugee crisis. You had people pouring into Europe, pouring into other parts of other parts of Africa.

Europistan rising!
It’s a horrible problem. and adds to some other horrible problems. the world is going to hell in a hand basket and I’m glad I don’t have grandchildren to live through the coming krep.

Vance is right, the problem is the Neocon hardliners.
How about frustrated JD Vance blaming himself for his disastrous MoU “brokered” by backstabbing Qatar?
This is pointing the blame in the wrong direction. The reason they had the refugee crisis before is simply because the European elites threw open their borders and allowed it to happen. In fact when Merkel welcomed them in, it encouraged even more to come. There were no wars going on in the vast majority of the countries the migrants came from. Even most of the Iraqis and Afghanis who flooded into Europe came well after the vast majority of the fighting was done and things had already settled down.
The Democrats used to pretend that it was circumstances abroad that created our migrant crisis too. Biden told Kamala to figure out why Central Americans were flooding in—as if it wasn’t precisely because he was allowing them to flood in. Trump got in and shut the border down in weeks. The European leaders could do the same if they actually wanted to. They don’t want to. And that has nothing at all to do with fighting or no fighting.
It’s a long way from Iran to Western Europe compared to the distance from Libya to Sicily or Morocco to Spain. “Migrant refugees” from Iran would be hardly that, being capable of traveling that far with many other options in between. I doubt seriously the Turks would be terribly hospitable.
Correct. And youโll recall one of the reasons cited was the effects of climate change
Environmentalists speak frequently about the destructive effects of introducing exogenous species of animals and plants into established ecosystems. This concern is just as valid when considering rapid demographic shifts from accelerated migration / immigration of people from different cultures. .
Is Vance addressing h1B and student visas flooding the US? Would like to solve our problems before we tackle Europe and the ME.

I’m not certain that it can be reversed ๐ค๐ค๐ค

Vance is right, the problem is the obstreperous, war-obsessed Neocon hardliners.
“These Trump critics do not provide sound solutions to the Iran war. They just want the military campaign to go on forever. They can’t actually identify what it is that they’re trying to accomplish”.
We brought in an army of millions of Indians/Pakistanis to take nearly all of our high paying tech jobs. And it is a free-for-all. There is a possibility we will never know the real numbers. Just as many as possible before the media has to start reporting on it.
The point of the MOU was to give the world economy a desperately needed big gulp of oil. With that accomplished, the war is back on.
Another 20 years we’ll be bombing the UK and EU killing Muslims.
Exactly right.
There will be no refugee crisis unless the West creates one.
That will become a mess unless we start to denuclearize Europe long before a total Muslim takeover.
If Europe wants to let them in, that’s their problem.
If their problem becomes our problem because one or more countries succumb to a caliphate, we will eliminate their regime just like we should do in Iran.
The hawks have provided solutions, Vance just doesn’t like them.
Trump’s stated goal is elimination of the nuke program, so, sticking to that, what “deal” will we get? One that we believe they abide by, or just a farcical document with a signature?
To get something believable means you have to believe the people signing it. If you can’t believe who will be signing it, then you still have an undefeated enemy.
Since Vance is obviously not ready for prime time, here’s a simple two-word expression of the solution:
Unconditional Surrender
