BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - UPDATE (6/28/2026): The excitement is building ahead of President Trump’s visit to North Dakota this week.
On Sunday, we saw more action at the airport in Bismarck.
Thanks to viewer Jackie for sharing video with Your News Leader. Jackie was waiting for her flight shortly before 11:30 a.m. Sunday in Bismarck and saw Marine helicopters circling on the runway. She also spotted an Osprey.
Other viewers shared footage on social media of military aircraft flying over Bismarck and Dickinson.
On Saturday we caught footage of some C-17s that had arrived in Bismarck.
The president is expected to visit on Wednesday for the dedication of the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, and make a speech.

Hopefully he'll tour Theodore Roosevelt National Park next to the library. Highly underrated as a National Park.

I am sad that I cant make it to DC for the 4th, but Bismarck is a 5 hour drive for me. Look out here I come.
