That’s awful. How low do you have to be to treat children like that? I still see kids in my part of the country (Bay Area, Ca.) trying to sell lemonade and snacks from their little stands.
The most common difference is that an adult is sitting or standing nearby for all of these kids.
One should never allow their children under the age of 12 work any public sales stand on their own, with no adult nearby.
