Another major company has had enough of high taxes and red tape from Democrat-controlled states.
Samsung Electronics America is leaving its North American headquarters in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, and relocating to Plano, Texas.
The move comes less than a year after the company opened its New Jersey facility, serving as yet another sign that big employers are voting with their feet and wallets against blue state policies.
While the company has not announced any layoffs, about 1000 jobs could be affected by this decision.
As part of this effort, we are relocating our U.S. headquarters from New Jersey to our existing campus in Plano, Texas, building on our 30-year presence in the state.”
The company added that it “will be providing support to those affected.”

Are democrat politicians really so stupid they can’t see down the road far enough to understand what an economic disaster they are creating in their states by running off major corporations?
Unbelievable. SMH
☭#Dem_Insanity!
The Democrat Party has been completely taken over by the far Left.
They HATE CORPORATIONS, because corporations represent the EVIL CAPITALISM.
As far as they are concerned, it’s goodbye to bad rubbish. They could not care less if the entire corporate system were to leave and not come back.
They believe that government and only government should be able to fill the voids left by the corporations leaving.
So they grow government as big and as fast as they possibly can.
Just one thing wrong: if everybody works for the government, who will pay the taxes to pay their salaries?
Once your tax base leaves, then you have no way of generating revenue................
If we’re lucky to end up with a republican governor should Steve Hilton call on our expats to return and fight?

Excellent! 🤣🤣🤣🍿🍿🍿
No, they are not stupid.
They just don’t care.
They will just keep taxing those that remain more.
Do Americans work for this company? Or is this an increase in the already Islamic Plano.
I just moved to Denton TX three months ago, and have driven through and/or stopped in Plano maybe a half dozen times. On the map, it’s a suburb of a suburb of Dallas, but in Plano itself it’s like driving through the center of Atlanta—I just wonder where a big corporation could find a spot to put itself 🏬 let’s just say when it comes to the DFW metroplex, this joint is jumpin’
As long as they leave the “Joisy” folks and foreigners up there come on.
The part of DFW I live feels more like New Delhi.
It seems that’s a self-limiting strategy. Eventually there won’t be enough of a tax base left to pay the politicians’ salaries.
I suppose they WILL be subject to the Texas’ Gross Receipts Tax as well as the historically high property taxes.
Don’t worry, they’ll get a bailout and make you pay for it.
I can’t think of any benefit for a company to have its HQ in NJ. At one time, the proximity to NYC and the finance centers was a plus but no more.
You are correct.
Where did all the businesses go?
It should be the best for the business and their employees.

The Walmart in Valley Ranch closely resembles a street market in Mumbai.
