Women Who Dated Democrat Graham Platner Describe ‘Unsettling’ Behavior
Breitbart ^ | June 04, 2026 | Paul Bois

Several women who previously dated Graham Platner have described “unsettling” and controversial behavior by the Democrat looking to unseat Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME).

The New York Times profiled several women who shared a romantic past with Platner, further piling onto the controversies that have plagued the candidate since discussions about his Nazi tattoo. In one interview, conservative commentator Lyndsey Fifield, who dated Platner between 2013 and 2015, said that he would often be rough with her while discussing violence, clarifying that he never physically assaulted her.

“He said this a lot: If anybody ever broke in here, I would rape them,” Fifield told the outlet.

She also alleged that Platner once handled an argument between them by twisting “her arm behind her back, shoved her into a bedroom and held the door closed from the other side so she couldn’t get out, telling her to remain there until she was ‘calm.'”

Regarding his Nazi tattoo, Fifield also expressed doubt as to Platner’s claims of being ignorant of its meaning, saying that he would sometimes describe it as “my Totenkopf.” Jewish Insider previously reported that a former acquaintance described him using that term.

While the Platner campaign did not deny making those remarks to Fifield, it strongly disputed accusations of physical intimidation.

At least two other women who dated Platner said he would engage in “patterns of heavy drinking and womanizing.” Maine Democrat Jenny Raciot, for instance, described his behavior as “reckless” and “unsettling” during their relationship between 2019 and 2021.

The New York Times did, however, interview other women who described more positive experiences with Platner during their relationship with him.

If this guy was running as a Republican, they would have never find any “positive” ex-gifriends.

They need to get rid of Platner and replace him with somebody more “moderate” before the general. This is how it’s done (see “Swalwell, Eric”).

The primary is next Tuesday. Governor Mills is on the ballot opposing Platner. She has suspended her campaign but just a couple of days ago she said she was still running.

There just may be a steady drip of these reports over the next month or so, but until a group of hard core leftists tell him to drop out, he won’t.

A poll take a day or two ago showed him leading Collings by 4 points-a couple of weeks ago it was 7 points.

People need to start looking for a higher grade of sociopath to run for public office. This one, and quite a few other recent ones, are scrapings from the bottom of the barrel.

The hard-left New York Times wants the RINO to win.

A few well-placed RINOs working behind the scenes can do far more damage to the Republican agenda than a sitting Democrat. Especially if one of those RINOs is the chairwoman of the Senate Appropriation Committee.

https://www.appropriations.senate.gov/about/chair

“As the Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Senator Susan Collins employs her influence, seniority, and experience to benefit the people of Maine and America. The committee has jurisdiction over all discretionary spending for the federal government.”

This is how the Democrats maintain control of congress even when they’re not the majority party.

As I understand it, even if Platner wins the primary, he can drop out and the Party can pick his replacement. That’s the way it is in Maine, so I’ve heard.

Platner is on 100% VA disability. It was not disclosed whether the disability was physical or he’s just plain nuts and cannot work thus making him an oyster farmer in name only between bouts of beating up his girlfriends. I suspect the Dems are leaking all this stuff now to force him off the ticket.

I heard they can replace him if he drops out before July 19 but they cannot if he drops out after that date. I suspect that is why the dems are leaking all his dirty laundry now to get him out including the fact they he is on 100% VA disability making him an oyster farmer in name only between bouts of beating up his girlfriends.

They need to get rid of Platner and replace him with somebody more “moderate” ...

There was a post saying that the DNC would force Platner to drop out and replace him with a candidate of their choice after the primary.

But there are other possibilities, one of which is Mills. If she can beat Platner in the primary, she becomes the dem candidate no matter who the DNC wanted to run.

It may even have been the Collins campaign, thinking a wounded Platner would be easier to beat.

Recall that in 1972 Sen Ed Muskie of Maine dropped out of the presidential primaries because it was revealed that he called French-Canadians by the derogatory term “canucks”. He cried in shame. It was long ago and far away. So much better than it is today.
