The Senate on Thursday voted on a proposal to block the construction of President Trump’s 90,000 square foot ballroom.
The proposal, which needed 60 votes, failed 52-47.
However, SIX Republican Senators voted with the Democrats to block the construction of the ballroom: Collins, Husted, Moran, Murkowski, Sullivan and Tillis.
The proposal was introduced by Democrat Senator Jeff Merkley during Thursday’s vote-a-rama.

All they are doing is making sure the Republican party becomes irrelevant for all time.
Weren’t McConnell and Cassidy available to join in the fin?
Rino jerks.
knowing the how evil the GOPe is, this was probably a limited hangout vote to justify maintaining the cloture ‘fillibuster.’ trying to game Trump on his ballroom. Thune (and McConman) hides out of course. Trump really needs to pull a Massie against Thune and Co.

They do read their emails and social media. They think it’s a gain politically for them to vote against the Save Act. It’s up to us to let them know it will do the opposite.

Just leave a giant hole in the ground and put a sign dedicating it to the Senate.
Six Republicans voted with Democrats to waive a procedural objection to the amendment: Sens. Susan Collins (R-Maine), Jon Husted (R-Ohio), Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.).
Surprised Cornyn (EX-TX) did not join in.
Looks like the Republicans are literally trying to lose the midterms.
They are so ridiculous
Ah the Bush Rove worship days on this forum
Don’t we all miss that?
And Cassidy
These people literally hate Trump more than the now openly socialist Dems
I doubt they can stop him private money on executive turf
Another thing and they do this a lot
Moderates like Collins who is a Republican from a lib state will vote bad to look good to voters at home when they know that is wasted
Collins can’t get elected being like we would like
It could be optics in this case for some
Tillis is just Pence like sour grapes though
Murkowski too
Is Alaska this lib now?
It’s hard to say, because Alaska uses ranked choice voting now.
I cannot loathe these people enough.
Give F-ing Alaska back to the Russians. Apparently the state is full of idiots and morons that keep putting these a$$hole back in congress.
We have plenty of idiots and morons without them.
That’s their job.
How petty can the Swamp be?
Six liberal tranny democrats.
