Politico Frames California Election Results as 'Becerra and Bass Surge'
Newsbusters ^ | June 3, 2026 | P.J. Gladnick

"Spencer Pratt surges to runoff in LA mayor’s race after angry voters send message to Karen Bass."

Does that sound like a reasonable headline description as to what happened on Tuesday in the mayoral election in Los Angeles? After all the incumbent mayor Bass was rejected (as of this writing) by almost two thirds of the voters. It is a headline that appeared on the 930 WFMD Radio website and is somewhat reflected in a bizarre way at Politico which somehow managed to give the election results a laughably different interpretation with "Becerra and Bass surge in California as anti-establishment fever breaks."

Yes, the Wednesday Politico spinmeister team of Liam Dillon, Alex Nieves, and Daniel Miller somehow groks that a nearly two-thirds vote against the incumbent translates into a "surge" for the establishment. In addition, contrary to Politico attempting to wishcast anti-dem establishment candidate Spencer Pratt away by portraying him as coming in third behind two diehard Democrats during the last week of May, he appears to be solidly in place for the November runoff election against Bass as of this writing (unless mysterious boxes appear loaded with Nithya Raman ballots).

Even more absurd is the portrayal of Xaviera Becerra as experiencing a "surge" since he came in second in the election for governor behind Steve Hilton who at this point leads Mr. Surge by three points. The strong antipathy of Politico towards Hilton is illustrated by the fact that in the entire article he is mentioned just once. Let the drums roll for the lone brief mention by Politico of the actual winner of the gubernatorial open primary: "Republican Steve Hilton, a former Fox News host endorsed by President Donald Trump, was just ahead of Becerra early Wednesday morning."

Thank you very much and God bless you.

And now, of course, the Democrats are slow rolling the ballot count as part of Gavin Newsom's "Break The Glass" election plan. The ONLY reason to absurdly DELAY the vote count is VOTE FRAUD.

It is legal in California to count votes up to 30 days after election day.

They’ll use that time to “find” and/or print up (or order from China) enough ballots to make sure the two front runners in the gubernatorial and mayoral races are democrats.

It will most likely be Bass and Raman in the LA mayor’s race and Becerra and Steyer in the governor’s race.

Silly Newbusters!

Political is in on the joke.

By the time the dust settles, only Democrats will be on the fall ballot.

The California Steal kicks in. You can vote to bring in Socialism but you have to fight to get it out.

There’s no way California will give citizens the opportunity to vote for a conservative candidate.

I wonder if Los Angeles allows write-in candidates during the Mayoral election this November. That may end up being Pratt’s only way to remain in the race.

Now, I know why getting some printer toner/ink became impossible over the last week. The DNC is printing mailin ballots.

“The ONLY reason to absurdly DELAY the vote count is VOTE FRAUD.”

And that’s what the article displays is preparation for stranger things to happen.

Politico Reframing California’s Election Results comes as no surprise.

The buzz is Politico’s boss demands unstinting allegiance
to Israel from editorial staff, or they can’t work there.

To that end, Politico reframed details about Israel’s activities in Gaza.

Now to figure out, what in God’s name, Politico’s
skewed California results has to do with Israel?

Israel must want Becerra to win real bad.

Public records show that between 2000 and 2012, while serving in Congress,
Becerra went to Israel on those infamous trips financed by an Israeli lobby.

California is the “mother lode” of easy money for the Democrats in state and nationally. They will fight tooth and nail to retain control of the state forever.

Not understanding why this kind of crap is allowed to continue in ANY election? The guilty parties no matter who they are need to be positively denied any collusion/connection with any political race. If the Chinese are involved, there should be special measures taken aginst them.
