Audie Cornish is back at her cherry-picking antics. Yesterday, the CNN This Morning host managed to find two Texas Republicans who said they wouldn't vote for Ken Paxton in the Texas senatorial general election.
Today, Audie began a segment on the economy by rolling clips of TikTok personalities claiming Americans are “skipping freaking meals” and fasting because “the economy is s--t.” She described them as “stories of Americans who say they’re struggling to put food on the table.”
One struggler was TikToker @ellestate, who, in a recent post, bragged about being able to afford expensive things to make herself “pretty.” The other struggler, @changegrower, recently posted a screaming, f-bomb laden, self-described "meltdown." This is CNN’s idea of economic commentary.

Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
Someone claimed it on the Internet, so it must be true. [/s]
Most Americans I see look like they should be skipping a few meals.
Because, in the end, it is President Trump’s fault, as usual.

From the article:
“Neither of the “fasters” in Cornish’s clips looked like they’d missed many meals lately.”
You might call their “fasting” crisis an “Ozempic” crisis, because if they eat more they’ll just puke it up again.
Especially Jerry Nadler the penguin and Jabba Pritzker.
We have at least two generations who have never experienced the US economy unleashed. All they know is the over regulated, over taxed, grift burdened, bloated government strangling the wealth out of everyone at every level. Their conclusion? Capitalism has failed. Their solution? Socialism.
More taxes, more government, more grift potential…That’ll SURELY fix it!
Politicians say “More taxes, will solve everything!”
....and the band played on.....
I cooked a pork roast, a squash/zucchini/onion dish, potatoes, and peas, for less than $25. It’s for just the two of us but could easily feed 6 or 8. We will have leftovers tomorrow.
Eating out is way too expensive for my pocket but the cost of preparing a meal and eating at home is still pretty reasonable.
I know some people are struggling, that’s normal, but the fake “concern” articles by the media tick me off. Those struggles started 6 years ago since 90% of the increase in the cost of groceries is due to inflation under Biden. The media had no concerns then for people that were having a hard time making ends meet. As a matter of fact, the media kept telling us the economy was great.

I’d prefer the Leftists saying that they’re fasting to kick off autophagy (the body chomping down on dead cells and other waste while waiting for the next meal - a super-healthy process).
But, sadly, the Leftists will now be healthier without even knowing why.
