*Let’s not make this a habit, but I think in my Friday podcast I said that “Jonathan” Turley had come around to my prophecy that the DemoKKKrats were going extinct. Sorry. I mean Dr. Steven Turley.

IN POLITICAL NEWS

1) Another assassination attempt on President Trump, nipped in the bud this time as Nasir West, who had “previous run-ins with law enforcement officials” and had “mental health issues”-—not to mention a gun-—was killed after exchanging fire with Secret Service agents outside the White House.

2) President Trump announced a deal to end the Iranian situation. They give up enriched uranium, no tolls, Hormuz opened, and some sanctions to be lifted. But, it’s the lyin’ mullahs, so Inshallah.

3) On this Memorial Day, the U.S. Army is thriving, meeting its recruiting goals four months ahead of schedule. Gee, amazing what happens when you have a supportive president and a Secretary of War who can actually train with the troops rather than hide behind a face mask and a plexiglas face shield like the disgusting DEI doltpoker Lloyd Austin.. Personal note here, one of our friends saw his son join SEAL Team 1 years ago. Now his younger son graduated West Point as a Second Lieutenant. Congrats . . . and you know who you are! In a related story, at the Marine’s Camp Lejuene, where Congress three years ago found that contaminated drinking water justified compensation, few payouts have happened. The Trump administration is now trying to speed those up.

4) Of the “Elite 1%,” of whom 73% are DemoKKKrats,, fuly one-third support cheating to win as legit.

5) The Schlizz, so-called reporter Chris Cilizza, noted that right after their 2024 butt kicking, the DemoKKKrats produced an “autopsy” that showed the party moved way too far left, looked dangerous, and otherwise was filled with bad news. DNC Chairman Ken Martin. Now that he has released it, no DemoKKKrat wants to read it. Meanwhile DemoKKKrat glandgulper Ro Khanna admits that the DemoKKKrats simply would not listen to working class voters.

6) Jeff Childers in his “Coffee & Covid” of May 23, had an interesting take on the Tulsi Gabbard resignation. He argues that both Bondi and Gabbard both “change agent handoffs.” Gabbard set the direction, but had no actual intelligence experience. Her replacement does. Like Todd Lynch at DoJ, Aaron Lukas, the principal deputy and new head of DNI,

7) This is a devastating review by Capitol Hill Police Chief Sund of all the times he requested National Guard support for Patriot Day (J6) and the excuses Botoxic and other DemoKKKrats offered for not authorizing the Guard.

8) SC completed its redistricting, adding another R seat. This brings the total to R +13 net. Depending on whose assessment of safe seats one uses, this puts the GOP around 215-216 safe seats. Those two IN seats and the other AL seat sure would come in handy, and would have pretty much already have salted away the election.

9) EPA director Lee Zeldin says the leaky Kollyfornia chemical tank will likely fail.

10) The DoJ has charged 15 more in the Skinny Minny fraud. That brings the total to 98. “But no one is getting arrested . . . .”

11) A NJ Muslim leader boasted of using Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon to divide the MAGA movement. Hasn’t worked real well there, has it porkplucker?
[and Candace Owen]

IN AI NEWS

12) Good review article here. Not surprised at these numbers. AI content is reshaping the way youts think. First, barely half of youts can tell the difference between AI and real material. Second, people are increasingly offloading critical thinking to AI. Third, the amount of trash-—constantly repeated stories, pings, images-—is leading to even more rapid (and uncritical) reading.

In my 2020 e-book, All Thumbs: How Our Obsession with Cell Phones and Devices is Damaging our Children, I discussed multiple reading studies that showed that the very techniques of reading-—left to right and top to bottom-—were badly damaged by screens, where people jump all over the page. Well, AI has accelerated that. leading to even more rapid skimming. I know personally when I skim “Reels” on Facebook or other sites, I can tell within the first words if a) this is old content rehashed; b) clickbait that withholds the name of the subject as a teaser; or c) material already found (and verified) elsewhere. “Everything sounds the same now,” one insider noted. It’s also relentlessly positive. You know, until you see the videos of boa constrictors eating a bison. AI, with its overwhelming positivity, generates unrealistic expectations (just look at X to see people concerned that in just a year and a half Trump hasn’t brought universal prosperity, world peace, and a new season of “The Shield.” Meanwhile, people with mental health issues far more easily develop “mental psychosis,” in which AI reinforces delusions. You know, like a DemoKKKrat can win TX. The observation at the end is right on: overall people either become too trusting or too cynical-—the latter of which is hitting our youts.

IN ILLEGAL CRIMINAL ALIEN NEWS

13) Green card applicants will now have to do so from their home country. They cannot just remain here and reapply.

IN CULTURAL NEWS

14) Jennifer Sey, the Levis exec who left the company over its stupid vax policies, discusses the fall of Everlane, a Groomer City brand that touted its “Radical Transparency” to bring direct-to-consumer retail sales. (I thought Wal-Mart did that?) The company had slow sales (surprise) and heavy debt and therefore sold to a ChiCom company called Shein, described by one enviro-green rating service as “the biggest polluter in fast fashion.” Supposedly built on transparency, the company ducked real audits despite admitting its suppliers were engaging in child labor.

15) Here is an equally powerful piece on the current state of marriage-aged women and how they are anxious, contemptuous of men, politically radicalized, and overall chowdergerbils. No man wants to hook up with this. Hence the decline of marriage. The current marriage rate is 65%, down from 71% in 1971. While not endorsing the work of Rollo Thomassi, his diatribes completely reflect the attitudes of many, if not most, young men.
Declining marriage rates account for nearly half the drop in the hours men work. Interestingly, in 1983, Barbara Ehrenreich (who was wrong about so much) was right in her book called The Heart of Men, which said back then that men were rebelling against the breadwinner mentality and that shame in not being a provider was disappearing. I cannot recall seeing her on any shows discussing this, but she was saying the same thing as George Gilder in his book published a full decade earlier, Sexual Suicide (also called Men and Marriage). Gilder, who was not a great speaker, was humiliated on the Oprah Winfrey show. He was right all along.

16) Now Kollyfornia wants to ban quartz table tops because the tools are “killing employees.”

IN TRANSOID NEWS

17) Even though the WI supes ruled against Gov. Tony Evers’ ban on “conversion therapy,” he continues to break the law by refusing to rescind it.

IN ECONOMIC NEWS

18) Chris Bray notes that Bakersfield, Kollyfornia, was once an oil-producing giant. Not so much after Sacramento got done with Kern Co.

IN INTERNATIONAL NEWS

19) Billions of dollars have moved through Binance crypto to the Iranian mullahs.

20) President Trump reversed course and sent another 5,000 troops to Poland. Personally, I’d like us to leave all Euro bases entirely, though probaby Ramstein will come in handy from time to time.

21) Commies always lie, but this is a new one: Chyna is staging hoax weddings and recruiting people to act as husbands and wives in fake marriage events to bolster numbers.

22) A new battery has hit 85% charge in six minutes. We’ll see. If so, could be a game changer for EVs.

23) Denmark accumulates crime data by country of origin. Surpise, surprise. Muslims lead in every single category.

24) Oil prices fell sharply as “the market” reacts to news of a settlement with IRan-—but don’t be fooled. You’re dealing with “Inshallah” which is “Allah wills it.” If Allah doesn’t will it, the deal will be off in seconds. We’re in this for at least another month, I think. Not enough pain on Iran yet.

IN ENTERTAINMENT NEWS

25) Mel Gibson says “The Resurrection of the Christ” is late, “it’s taking its own time,” and is extremely ambitions, going from “the fall of the angels to the last of the apostles.” He said he just finished writing it, and it’s not even in pre-production yet. CORRECTION AND UPDATE: Gibson has finished filming and is in post-production. This was an older interview. I wish reels and other videos would include the DATE

26) “The Mandalorean and Grogu” barely beat “Solo” in the opening four days. In other words, this movie will not make money. The production budget was a reported $165m without marketing (probably at least anothe $35 million), meaning the movie has to make $400 million to break even. This article says it will lose money.

27) So sad how once-stalwarts like Chip and Joanna Gains caved to the homosexual lobby. Now, former members of the Christian vocal group Avalon (whom I saw in concert) have re-recorded their hit “Testify to Love” to claim it is a pro-homosexual song. Just disgusting. This is what the Bible meant when it said there would be a profound “falling away.”

AND FINALLY . . .

28) A dog rescued from a pound saved his new owner from a fire. Over the last 20 years we have rescued seven doggies, usually having no more than 2 at a time. Lissa is now about 12, and the newest, a real recluse named JJ, is about 6. But I woldn’t count on either of them to save us from a fire!
