More than 100 illegal migrants have arrived in Britain just as the UK is gearing up for record-breaking May temperatures.
GB News can confirm that two dinghies have set off from Belgium and have been escorted to British shores.
One Border Force vessel carrying 79 migrants has now arrived in Kent after intercepting one of the boats an hour before.
A second vessel with 83 migrants shipping the remaining migrants arrived two hours later, bringing today’s total to 162, according to GB News provisional figures.
Yesterday, almost 400 migrants made the perilous crossing across the Channel over the course of the first day of warm weather.
Today marks the second of at least four days of sunny weather conditions as UK authorities ready themselves for an influx of migrants exploiting the warm spell.
GB News's National Reporter Will Godley, who is reporting on the ground in Dover, explained how the people smugglers are capitalising on the summer sun.

I wonder how many are not officially reported. And how many slip in without anyone noticing.
What does it matter, anyway? Two dinghies a day or two hundred dinghies a day, the British government won’t do a thing .
I suppose Reform would take some action. But the next British general election probably won’t be before August of 2029. Lots and lots of dinghies can set sail before then.

The US Navy is maintaining a blockade of Iran not by sinking ships but by firing to disable their engines. That would be a good start here. And then add your idea if necessary.
Someone ought to mention this to King Charles. After all, he’s the commander-in-chief of the Royal Navy. And he has enough gold braid on his navy uniform to outfit five of our admirals.

I looked that up a while back. You are correct in that the UK currently has only one functioning true warship, the HMS Duncan.
But the RN also has 8 relatively modern armed coastal patrol ships. Maybe they should be assigned to patrol the British coast.

How is it France and Belgium let the “migrants” transit their country and launch boats from their shores and operate them in their waters? It’s not like these are cartel-ridden 2nd world countries like Mexico. These are responsible Euro nations, yet they resemble Latin America in their de facto collusion with the illegals.
The lawlessness of the whole thing and that it’s allowed to happen right out in the open is mindboggling.
How about the people of France and Belgium? Do they have an opinion on this? Are they okay with their country being a willing transit point for illegal immigration? Maybe it’s a simple as “screw England” with them.
As for the Brits themselves, the article’s comment section is uniformly outraged about the small boat invasion but apparently GB News is considered a right-wing outlet so I guess the sentiment isn’t representative of the whole country.

I’m at 80 degrees F right now, and it’s not yet the hottest part of the day.
