When it comes to politics and the media, we live in very stupid times and this story is proof.
Now that Democrats have utterly failed to redistrict the state of Virginia, the liberal media outlet Politico is reporting that the Dems are pivoting to a ‘new’ strategy of demonizing Trump and blaming him for everything.
This is new? Really? That’s news to us. It sounds like the oldest Democrat strategy in the book. Haven’t they been doing this since at least 2015?

Democrats are changing their redistricting strategy — again.
Just two weeks after House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries promised to invoke “maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time,” his side has been forced to shift drastically into a defensive posture thanks to a pair of court rulings that moved the House map toward the GOP.
Now, with little to no chances left to redistrict ahead of November to counter GOP gains of 10 favorable House seats or more, Democrats are stuck doing something they know all too well: blaming President Donald Trump, and hoping it will spur voters to turn out for them in the midterms.
In statements and interviews since Virginia’s Supreme Court struck down state Democrats’ new congressional map and the high court narrowed the Voting Rights Act, the party is arguing that Republicans’ aggressive moves to dismantle Black- and Hispanic-majority districts in the South will outrage voters of color and spur them to the polls in record numbers.
“Given the highly unfavorable political environment confronting House Republicans, the extremists will not meaningfully benefit from their scandalous gerrymandering scheme,” Jeffries said in a Monday “Dear Colleague” letter. “Quite the opposite. Democratic enthusiasm and resolve have grown more intense.”
This story highlights one the biggest challenges that Democrats are having right now. They are not offering anything new to the American people.
Since the 2024 election, all they have done is stomp their feet and obstruct. There is no new plan, new ideas, or self reflection. They have not paused for a single minute to ask themselves why they lost so badly in 2024. It’s as if they don’t even want to know.
They’re like spoiled children who just want what they want and want it right now.
They haven’t earned the right to be in power again. They haven’t even tried.

They only have to get out a better turn out. If Republicans are complacent, the Dems could pull out enough wins to make it closer.

And all though polls have the repubs winning huge, I fully expect the progs and machines to steal these elections for the commies down in East Beijing ( formerly known as Sacramento ).
Pretty much. They also know that many Americans in the center and the right can be easily pushed into Trump fatigue. They did it in 2019-20, and they can do it again.
As long as we're in Iran, even for the right reasons, and as long as gas prices remain high, they can keep pushing the narrative.

Teenagers who do the exact opposite of what the parents want, no matter how self destructive it is for our country.
They were so focused on power by flooding the country with illegal aliens to push the census and thus voting districts in their direction that they brought in criminal aliens and opened the jails in the USA with bad judges and DA’s.
When you step back and look at the greater picture, their strategy and its flaws appear obvious.
If President Trump found a cure for cancer they would blame him for not discovering it 10 years ago.
IIRC, he has said something similar.
The good news is, their blind hatred for the man has and will continue to be their downfall.
They also haven’t admitted that they themselves have been gerrymandering far harder than Republicans for decades. New England’s 22 US House seats with ZERO Republicans demonstrates that.
Or one could look at California where Trump got 38% of the vote while Republicans only held 17.5% of US House seats and Democrats deemed that too favorable to Republicans and made it even worse.
Or the attempt in Virginia where Democrats hold a majority of only a few percentage points to take it from a 6-5 majority Democrat House delegation to a 10-1 majority Democrat House Delegation.
But its “scandalous” when Republicans actually fight back? Democrats don’t have a leg to stand on here and everybody knows it.
When did they not?
It isn't a new strategy, it been a strategy since 2016. Blame Trump...but it isn't working...
They’re going after the far-left toddler vote. Toddlers with college diplomas.
The left is blaming Trump for everything going the right way it’s a hit job on their communist plans.
The way to handle this to stop playing defense, i.e., by telling ouselves and voters something like, “Shame on them for attacking Trump — he’s not on the ballot”.
I wonder if Trump will channel Nixon when he leaves office, “You won’t have Trump to kick around anymore, because, gentlemen, this is my last press conference.”
In the sports talk universe, all the wiseguys talk about every team needs an identity.
I’d say the only identity the Marxists, the globalist scum, and Elite Stream Media has had in the last decade is the demonization of Trump and it has worked well if you think the effective throw of a boomerang is when it comes back to hit you in the mouth.
Every time I turn the tv on the political ads are....Mexicans running for office offering free stuff. One anchor baby even says he grew up on MediCal and knows how hard it is to get care so.....Medicare for all. So sick of them.
