RINO-Democrat Scheme to Seize Deep Red State AG Position through Treachery Gets Exposed [SC]

Conservative commentator Eric Bolling did a monologue on his program that exposes how a Democrat who suddenly decided to run as a Republican for the attorney general seat in South Carolina is actually attempting to nab the seat and carry out the Democratic Party agenda. A video of Bolling’s commentary shared on X starts with the host saying, “Well, we’ve heard the phrase ‘a wolf in sheep’s clothing.’ Wow.”

“We’ve seen RINOs, Republicans in Name Only. But this, this is something very different. This is a Democrat running as a Republican for attorney general in South Carolina, a very, very red state. His name is David Pascoe, and this story should have every conservative in the country paying attention, because it’s not just about South Carolina,” Bolling continued.

He then explained that it’s really about the Democratic Party infiltrating the office and using it as lawfare against GOP lawmakers and an attempt by the radical left to take over Republican institutions from within. Bolling then started unraveling the truth about who Pascoe really is and his connections to the Democratic Party.

“David Pascoe wasn’t just casually aligned with Democrats. He’s a decades-long Democrat, elected, reelected, serving as first circuit solicitor under the Democrat banner, and he didn’t just quietly support Joe Biden. Pascoe brought Biden in as the headline guest at a major fundraiser and oyster roast and fish fry that helped fuel Biden’s South Carolina primary push,” the commentator explained.

Bolling then noted that Pascoe heaped praise on Biden publicly, referring to him as the “most decent man I’ve ever met in American politics, and how he described him as a “role model” and someone his sons could look up to. He said that this clearly indicates that Pascoe is far from neutral or moderate, but is completely in lock-step with the Democratic Party.

“Pascoe was even tapped as a preferred nominee for U.S. Attorney under Biden. Let that sink in for just a minute. The same man now asking Republicans for their vote was being elevated by the Biden administration. Now, somehow suddenly, after decades as a Democrat, after endorsing Biden, after winning a Democrat primary in 2024, he flips parties in April of 2025 and launches a Republican campaign for attorney general, a very powerful office in the state,” the host elaborated.

Bolling then encouraged viewers to “follow the money,” revealing that Pascoe’s campaign for attorney general is being backed by Dick Harpootlian, who served two terms as the chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party. Harpootlian also served as a fundraiser for both former President Barack Obama and Biden. Harpootlian’s wife also received the Biden ambassadorship. That same network, Bolling pointed out, is now helping Pascoe’s campaign raise money.

“You got to ask yourself, why would Democrat power players invest in a Republican race? Well, it’s simple, Because they want control of that office. It means that much to them, and this is where it gets serious. David Pascoe has a history through the so-called probing gate investigation. He led a corruption probe that took down multiple Republican lawmakers, big names, indictments, resignations, but this stands out just a little bit,” Bolling continued.

“The politicians were hit hard, but the consultants, the firms, the money players, they largely walked away with fines and settlements, no major criminal consequences at all. That’s not equal justice, that’s selective enforcement. And now, according to reporting and a source inside the state in South Carolina, Pascoe, is telling people privately that if he becomes Attorney General, he’ll go after Republican lawmakers again. He’ll indict senators, indict House members, go after conservative political figures that sound familiar?” Bolling asked.

“It should,” Bolling said, adding, “It mirrors exactly what we’ve seen happen to Donald Trump. This is what lawfare looks like, folks. Not out in the open, but from inside the system. And there’s another piece here, while Pasco aggressively pursued Republicans, there’s very little record of him going after any Democrat power structures at all in his own backyard. No major takedowns, no sweeping investigations, no equal application of the law that raises a question, a very serious question, is this In fact, about justice, or is this just politics?”

Bolling then issued a challenge to primary voters in South Carolina, reminding them that this is an election that has very real consequences, not just for their state, but for the entire country. “South Carolina, voters have a choice. They can vote for a real conservative, or they can handle the most powerful legal offices in the state, maybe even in the country, to someone with deep roots in the Democrat machine. The primary is June 9. This is exactly the kind of race that deserves national attention, because what happens in South Carolina doesn’t stay in South Carolina,” the host concluded.

So one should ask WHY did the GOP allow him to run as a Republican...Major failure from our party, local, state and national.

“Major failure from our party, local, state and national”

Every second of every day for years. The Republicans are why we’re overrun with foreigners both legal and illegal, and why we’re broke and in debt.

A lot of people can’t grasp the concept that Democrats run as Republicans in order to do as much damage to the Republican agenda as possible.

There are people who believe that everyone with an ‘R’ after their name is a Republican.

They’ll tell you that “The worst RINO is a thousand times better than the most conservative Democrat.”

This is why Republicans end up with John McCain and Mitt Romney as their party’s presidential candidate.

It’s even worse than that.

Party leaders don’t care how members vote as long as they agree to caucus with the GOP.

It’s all about the chairmanships of the various committees and the lucrative lobbying that comes with it.

Follow the money.
