Swalwell is a crook, appears to be a rapist, but not only will he not resign from Congress, he'll probably be the host of SNL before the end of 2026.
Now, now. Innocent until proven guilty. Unless you’re a Republican named Santos....
Or Trump for that matter.
I wonder just how many dems are sweating bullets hoping that other rocks are going to be turned over, now that the democrat dam has developed a few cracks.
Chavez… Swallwell… Who’s next? Something happening with Dems behind the scenes? Tired of accusing others while excusing their own? That’s almost too good to be true! That’s their favoritest, winningest game!
It’s because the Letters Are Capitalized. Makes it really bad. Not simply serious accusations. Oh no. Serious Accusations.

Dems are all about power. Forcing Swalwell to exit the CA governor race is just consolidating power. Swalwell stays in congress and a Dem dropping out of the CA race actually helps the remaining Dems in the goofy CA ranked choice mess. The real target of this is Hilton.

Can’t set THAT precedent, but him dropping out of the CA Governor race would be GOOD for Democrats so they are all for it. Even if Mr. Fang-Fang does resign (ha!) or is expelled (double ha!) he would simply be replaced in a special election by another Democrat. It wouldn’t affect a thing.
OTOH one less Democrat — especially the front-runner — in the GOVERNOR race means less vote-splitting in the primary and less chance that a miracle will happen and 2 Republicans (and zero Democrats) are on the November ballot.
Trump already squashed the potential for that miracle earlier this week, but some like to pretend it could still happen.

They’re just thinning the herd to their advantage. Nothing we can do accept hope he stays alive and damaged at the same time. It’s like tackling the ball carrier with seconds left on the game. You don’t really want to tackle him to end the play. Just hold him up while the seconds tick away. I don’t think we’ll be that lucky here. Swalwell is another John Edwards-remember him? There's room in there for the Lambo he'll probably want after the divorce is final, I'm sure that's coming -- she'll put up with a lot, even "indiscretions", but once his career craters, she'll move on.

This one the Republicans need to capitalize on. Leader Jeffries is protecting his Congressman accused of sexual assault by keeping him in his Congressional Democrat fold. Why does Jeffries want him to abort his governorship race but remain in Congress? Is raping employees one of the ‘qualifications’ to be a Democrat Congressman?
