The Left has been getting better and better at working themselves into positions of power claiming to be Republicans. I think they set a target, such as the State BOE in this case, and then build up a reasonably conservative record at the lower levels...until they reach that target, which is not hard as they have access to unlimited money and, in many cases, unlimited cheating.
So we’ll see here - we already know they pulled it off with the Texas Supreme Court.
Well, modern textbook writers certainly haven’t hesitated to tell American history “warts and all,” to the point of focusing mostly on the warts. If Islam gets treated the same way, I’m all for it
