Roaring Lion Shows Israel’s Moral Compass in War. Gaza and Iran Alike—Israel’s War Is With Terror, Not Civilians.

Roaring Lion Shows Israel’s Moral Compass in War. Gaza and Iran Alike—Israel’s War Is With Terror, Not Civilians. Israel’s Precision Strikes Prove It Never Targets Civilians.

Israel’s conduct during Operation Roaring Lion underscores a consistent principle: it does not target civilians as a matter of policy. Even in Iran—where Israel has no obligation to minimize harm toward a hostile regime—civilian casualties were unintended and limited. This is significant because it demonstrates that Israel’s military doctrine prioritizes precision and restraint even when facing adversaries.

If Israel were indifferent to civilian life, operations in Iran would likely look very different. Instead, the outcome reflects deliberate targeting of strategic threats, not populations. That same principle applies in Gaza. Civilian casualties there, while tragic, occur in the context of Hamas embedding military infrastructure within densely populated areas—not because Israel seeks harm to civilians.

In short, Israel’s actions in Iran reinforce a broader pattern: civilian harm is not the objective, but a byproduct of confronting groups and regimes that operate from within civilian environments.

Pallyweid dismantled:
The fact that some civilians unfortunately, also died in Iran (civilians it sees as friends) during Roaring Lion, shows Israel never seeks to harm civilians as a routine, rule (and Gaza is no exception).

If the allies in WW2 were so obsessed with avoiding “civilian” casualties, we would still be fighting.

If a country is led by people who repeatdly proclaim that their aim is “Death to Israel”, have successfully enriched uranium and have demonstated great skill in making or acquiring effective drones and ballistic missiles, then Israel would be naive and negligent not to view such a country as an existential threat. Striking that country while they have the military advantage is not only logical but necessary. Also by hook or crook it is understandable they would do all they could to get their allies to help them. However if the regime, however weakened survives and the uranium is not secured then the existential threat, while temporarily lessened, will still exist. Also the political consequences for their allies may result in those allies friendly political leadership being superceded by demonic, lunatics who would be overtly hostile to Israel.

JFK tried to stop Israel for secretly taking over the US government for their own long range interests. Hey, it' not my fault that they didn't burn this yet.

If you get mad at JFK, then you will have to trash Eisenhower for getting Israel under control, too.

Perhaps - or maybe it would have occurred at a different time - and there’s no telling what the world would look like today. There’s a lot of arguments/debates on how our influence changed possible future events...but nobody can make the definitive statement you just did while ignoring all the myriad alternate possibilities that could have been either good or bad. It’s all guess work.

Jesus won’t touch it - He has already decreed where we will end up - until then, evil will reign and it’s the duty of good (as much as anyone can be “good”) men to try to destroy any evil that crops up - and Iran has been a bumper crop of evil for 47 years and counting. I believe in the New Covenant - where God is hands-off and the miracles happen within individuals who put their faith and trust in Him - instead of Him reaching out and physically “massaging” corporeal things.
