Thought I would start a thread about voter experiences today in Illinois. Were there any major delays in opening the polls at 6:00 AM? Were there any problems with the equipment setup or equipment malfunctioning? I had neither, but what I did notice is this time around signing for an in person ballot changed. Instead of signing a paper log book, I had to do an iPad scribble...

Thanks for the heads-up. We are just getting ready to go vote and run some errands. I’ll keep an eye out for anything different. We’re in Eric Sorenson’s district (unfortunately).
Poll watching. Low turnout.
The question I have on signing for ballots, is how is this possible for the software and election officials to evaluate scribbles before issuing a ballot?

Usually a plausibly deniable signature.
Upon further reflection my voting signature was converted to digital. Not cool INHO. We know from Bush vs Gore that election official don’t know how to empty out chad trays, let alone run modern day election systems..
