According to a new report, the Department of Homeland Security appears to be stepping in and taking a more aggressive role in investigating illegal employment inside the United States.
And no, they’re not politely coordinating with the IRS. They basically just told them to “take a seat.”
DHS is reportedly bypassing the IRS and using its own investigative team to dig into the relationship between employers and illegal workers.
For years, everyone avoided this tactic. Why? Because the uniparty knew it would actually break the pipeline, and God knows they don’t want that to happen.
Now, Trump’s DHS is moving directly into the driver’s seat.
This move is big, and it caught the attention of several people online who follow this stuff closely.

I’ve read stories about the same ssn being used by multiple illegals, and the IRS knows it’s happening. When the rightful citizen assigned that number discovers and alerts the IRS, the bastards basically tell the citizen to get lost and have them a hassle .
I believe it!
Since Simpson-Mazzoli act of 1986, it has been illegal to hire illegal aliens to any job.
I am sure, this law has been violated routinely, and hardly anybody has been hold accountable!
Exactly.
That is the whole game.
Illegals use someone else’s ssn, and get away with it because the IRS approves of mass illegal immigration.
The IRS knows essentially ALL of the illegal aluens.
Blow this hole wide open!
“I am sure, this law has been violated routinely...”
At least since the 1940’s that I have witnessed. Hiring practices in the San Joaquin Valley of California for agriculture worker has been one that could easily be picked off. Tack that on to factory and manual jobs, and the numbers are astronomical. I can drive by box stores like Lowes or Home depo and see the illegals sitting out in front of them trying to get jobs from contractors coming in to buy product every day. So it still goes on. I’m surprised ICE hasn’t hit that group already at every store and hardware.

Bust and imprison a bunch of high profile employers (I’m looking at you, Tyson) and watch the illegals flee homeward!
That is true. Every criminal invaders working under a stolen ssn is a thief. The feds never help the victims of ID theft.
Cargill is another one.
I was in construction for years...the use of illegals was routine.
I am sure the IRS will start auditing people at the DHS in retaliation.
I've long said the two key pillars that need to be taken out are:
1) Illegal aliens receiving taxpayer money in the form of food, housing, education and medical care.
2) Companies paying illegal aliens under the table.
Take away the public money they're not supposed to have and take away the employment they're not supposed to have and tens of millions of them will agree to the government's offer to self deport. We won't have to go round up but a few criminals who make their money from crime. The rest won't be able to afford to live illegally in America anymore.
Its because the Establishment is so corrupt and is so in bed with corrupt companies who want cheap labor that they haven't done this before. There is no other reason why they have systematically refused to enforce the law all these years. If we got rid of the illegals, Americans would see much more plentiful jobs, wages for the middle class would go up and housing would become significantly cheaper. Corporate profit margins would be somewhat squeezed though. I'd find a way to live with the latter.
Look at any construction site.
Look at landscaping.
Look at Truck driving with all the BS CDLs issued.
Look at slaughterhouses - these used to be coveted jobs because they paid well.
The list of jobs “Americans won’t do (for the crappy 3rd world wages we want to pay them)” just grows longer and longer.
Though the drawback will be that construction, landscaping, slaughterhouses etc. will cost more to the end user.
Probably not a lot more (I’m guessing) as I guess a lot of the current “savings” go to the contractor/boss man - but I don’t know enough about that market to give any kind of facts on this.
I have often wondered though - slaughterhouses: if salaries had to go up, would that
1. reduce meat consumption
2. increase prices
3. increase automation
It’s Trump’s IRS... Why isn’t that being cleaned up as well. There should be tons of arrest and trials at every institution for fraud, waste and abuse but crickets every.
When I was in the Army I was audited for $100s of K income on my tax return.
Turns out my name (Irish!) and SSN was being used by lots of illegals.
Worked out OK as even the IRS understood I could not be working construction in 10 places while also in Afghanistan.
They maxed out social security for me for 10 years, which is nice I suppose. I get credit for it on retirement, lol.
I just looked up the numbers in different countries in Europe and also noted that the UK and Germany implemented some kinds of reforms cutting migrant labor for meat packaging and slaughterhouses
1. prices rose - nearly 150% or more. And due to rise higher
2. lots of farm culling - killing animals as there was a massive backlog at the slaughterhouses
3. Farm bankruptcies
4. Deal with Mercosur for getting meat from there.
So it is possible, but would have big impacts
“The IRS knows essentially ALL of the illegal aluens.”
All the more reason to get rid of the IRS, which I think is/was one of Trump’s goals. He wants to replace IRS revenue with tariff money.
Just think, stopping illegal employment will shrink the dollars going to other countries and cause many to self deport.
In the US a lot of the price of meat is driven by the fact that 4 companies have consolidated the industry and acted as a cartel to artificially raise prices. There are a lot of calls to investigate and sanction them and/or break them up.
The bigger point is that yes, getting rid of cheap illegal alien labor will cause some inflation. American labor is more expensive after all. You have to counterbalance that increase in inflation with all the jobs it will generate for Americans, the decrease in social welfare spending as more people can start earning decent wages instead of living on the public dole, etc. On balance, its much better for the country that we employ our own people and that we build things ourselves instead of outsourcing all of our manufacturing while importing hordes of cheap foreign labor.
It would likely do all 3 of the above. I freely admit getting rid of all the cheap illegal alien labor will cause some price increases. For example housing. We used to build our own housing not that long ago. Now you go to almost any construction site and its loaded with illegal aliens doing those jobs. So the cost of building will go up once we get rid of them. On the other hand, the 25-30 million illegal aliens in the country have to live somewhere so once they are gone, demand for housing will go way down.
ALL of our population growth has been driven by immigration for decades. Get rid of illegal aliens and reduce immigration, and suddenly our existing housing/hospitals/infrastructure, public services etc are not nearly under as much strain.
And there are THOUSANDS of people in the US that are over 125 years old!! YEAH RIGHT!
