The United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has ruled that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) can share tax information with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to aid immigration enforcement efforts. The unanimous decision struck down the plaintiffs' request for a preliminary injunction, which attempted to block the IRS from providing addresses of suspected criminal illegal immigrants to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The three-judge panel, comprised of Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan, Senior Circuit Judge Harry Edwards, and Circuit Judge Patricia Millet, ruled on Tuesday that the appellants "are unlikely to succeed on the merits of their claims." Judge Edwards wrote, "The only issue that we decide is whether, on the sparse record before is, Appellants have met their heavy burden to make a clear showing that they are entitled to the preliminary injunctive relief sought. For the reasons indicated, we conclude that Appellants have not."
The decision came in response to an appeal filed by Centro de Trabajadores Unidos and other Chicago-based immigrant-rights groups against Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. The plaintiffs' initial attempt to block the IRS from sharing data with ICE was struck down in May 2025 by Judge Dabney Friedrich in the lower US District Court.

Problem is most illegals don’t pay taxes so how does this help?
Oh, they pay taxes, with stolen or bogus social security numbers and identities.
It is to laugh.
All the Longhouse Karens just shat their panties.
Someone in MN is in deep trouble.
Tax Evasion brought down Capone.
One argument the left will use is that simply overstaying your visa is not a crime, but merely a civil offense. BUT, if you have overstayed your visa, and are using someone else’s social security number to work - bingo! A crime is born. Access to IRS data could streamline that line of investigation.
Yes, good news.

Deporting illegal aliens makes the American people safer.
Today’s court decision allowing @USTreasury to share IRS data with @ICEgov is a crucial victory for President Trump’s agenda to Make America Safe Again. It also reaffirms a simple truth: laws set by Congress must be enforced, not undermined by activist judges.
Those who do still need to go, and they likely know just where to find them.
Too bad Trump hasn’t carried out the mass deportations he promised during his campaign.

“A state judge shot down a lawsuit that tried to kill Nassau County’s partnership with US Immigration and Customs Enforcement — ruling the controversial deal does not violate state law.
State Supreme Court Justice Danielle Peterson found the New York Civil Liberties Union’s argument was “completely unfounded” when it claimed the Nassau deal violates the state’s sanctuary laws and has been “devastating for immigrant families, court records showed.
County Executive Bruce Blakeman, a Republican now running for governor, said the judge’s ruling on Tuesday backed up the stance the deal was “valid and proper.””

Thanks for your video about MOH recipient Sergeant Alvin York [colonel - State Guard].
You’re welcome, Colonel. Please share.
Thank you for your service!
(I was USAF between ‘62-’66’!)
I was noting Sgt. York’s rank post-service.
I unfortunately never served - but my brother was USAF for 4 years, and Army for a year.
Thank YOU for your service, and for that great video! 😊
