Team Canada women's hockey team handed stuffed animals while on the ice after losing to Team USA in overtime.
The women didn't seem too thrilled as they were handed a stuffed animal named Tina, who is the official mascot of the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Everyone got one of those Milano mascots who won medals at the Olympics. The US got them too in any sport they won a medal in.
I’m sorry but handing me a stuffed toy after losing to my arch rival, might get someone’s jaw jacked. The ladies hockey players aren’t docile. In fact, they can be downright bad asses when they get going. Just saying.
I saw the one on the left in a documentary not too long ago. I think it was titled “Stop Making Sense”. Man, he’s changed!
Should have given them octopuses (octopi).
I think I would be tempted to one-time the stuffed animal into the nearest net.
Do the gyrl hockey players drop the gloves and engage in fisticuffs and jersey jacking and normal hockey stuff like that?
In another time and sport, Joanie Weston would probably have decked the idiot who gave her such a consolation prize.
Why isn’t Roller Derby an Olympic sport?
