The Week in Radical Leftism - 2/13/26 - The Washington Post Dies in Darkness!

Welcome back to day 383 of America liberated from the Biden*/Harris occupation! After last week's announcement that Jeff Bezos was laying off a few hundred staffers from his money pit vanity project of what was once a newspaper, the Dinosaur Media howled with rage and despair. It's not hard to feel some sympathy for anyone losing their job, but when I looked at the articles in this past Sunday's paper, I feel a lot less sympathy.

As we’re now learning that The Washington Compost’s layoffs are worse than initially reported, I figured we should take a look at the fine journalism that shows up in their flagship publication, the Sunday Post. Here are a sample of five articles that graced various sections’ front pages:

The enthusiasm — and scorn — surrounding Bad Bunny’s star turn at the Super Bowl

Bottom right corner of the front page – seriously? With the many different stories regarding Trump’s foreign policy successes and his numerous battles in the Civil War 2: Electric Boogaloo that Leftists are intent to wage this is front page news? What about the Sports section, where this article would be somewhat appropriate? Let's see what the lead story is on the Sports Section.

What do we make of Colin Kaepernick now?

Short answer: Colon Kaepernick is still a rectal cavity. In the print edition, the headlines and illustration take up the entire top half of the front page of the Sports section. For a mid level player who hasn’t played in a decade. Maybe some mention of the Super Bowl or the Olympics should be the lead in a section dedicated to people who want to read about sports and not how the Radical Left is doing their best to ruin them?

Representing the red, white and blue is complicated for some Olympians

No, it’s not. If it’s complicated to you, I’m pretty sure North Korea would happily let you wave their flag. This is one of the other two articles appearing below the Colon Kaepernick love letter. The third article was actually a legit Olympic story, but this follows a trend I’ve noticed in the Sports Section – Front page always has at least one political piece, and local teams get lower billing, if any mention at all. How about the front page of the Books section? What fine, thought provoking literature will we find there?

Bad Bunny conquered the world, but he wants to save Puerto Rico

Yeah, Lefties, by all means raise a gross, anti-American figure as your mascot. For any younger readers, google “Michael Moore” and look at the Democrats' decision to make him one of their top voices and how the 2004 elections turned out. At least the Travel section will get us away from politics, right?

Socialism (i.e., the political control of property) makes EVERYTHING political.

It is a socially divisive precept.

Too many papers like the Post have turned themselves into an agenda-driven newsletter. They have stopped presenting the news in an unbiased manner designed to let the reader form their own opinion. Instead, they craft their words to evoke what they see as the desired response. Newspapers have ceased to be sources of information. Rather, their papers are one big editorial page with the only viable utility as a liner for a bird cage.

The laid off workers didn’t seem to understand that print media is almost dead - and is never coming back.

“Washington Post workers who were recently laid off attempted to enter the newspaper’s headquarters on February 10, 2026, but found themselves locked out after their access badges stopped working.

Union leaders claim the layoffs and sudden lockout may violate federal labor law.”

Sue away, there is nothing left to sue.

Maybe they could learn to code.

The problem isn't bias. Everybody has some sort of bias.

The problem is smear tactics and all around deliberate deception.

And the primary deception -- even in stories that seem uncontroversial -- it the implication they know what is going on.

Sorry? Heck no. I’m cheering this. These lying propaganda merchants, scum who sell their miserable souls to the highest bidder, can all starve in the street for all I care. They are no better than the guards at Auschwitz.

I am sure, the travel section promotes trips to Cuba, Nicaragua, China and Vietnam.
Beautiful trip special to North Korea, visiting all the revolutionary statues and memorials.
Really special trip to Europe, visiting al the places Marx and Lenin used to live. One can even see the Marx-Engels Forum in Berlin.

Thats what people dont understand.

With liberals/socialists/wokes, all synonyms, everything is political. You find that out quick enough, but many people think its per a specific incident, but no, its really 24/7/365.
