That was just beautiful! The officer somehow knew the kids had just seen the criminal and busted the door down, then immediately fired an incredible number of shots at the man.

Can't imagine the depravity that would cause a person to behave like this. Did the officer even bother to find out if the robber had a family or worked in a noble field that benefitted humanity? It'll be interesting to find out if this was a journastically justifiable shooting.

Yeah he emptied the magazine. I am gonna use that video for any justification I ever have to give about why I shot as many times I did.

I bought my guns because at the time its what offficers used, and I didnt want to carry any more “gun” than police did. (Now they use more powerful ones.) So why did you empty the magazine? I figured I wasnt going to fire any more times than an officer under a similar threat/stress condition does.

If your loved ones were being held hostage I wouldn't criticize you for emptying the magazine. But using that video as justification puts you in a weaker position in a lawsuit because it dilutes the defense that you were in fear that someone was in danger of death or great bodily injury. You would be saying, "Well he did it, so I can too."
