Cameron Kasky came to national attention as a student activist at Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school after the tragic shooting there in Parkland, Florida in 2018.
His first notorious turn on CNN came on Jake Tapper's screechy anti-conservative town hall, where he said then-Sen. Marco Rubio reminded him facially of the Parkland mass shooter, Niklas Cruz.
Kasky has attempted emulate his fellow student at that school, David Hogg, and grift off the Parkland anti-gun halo. He recently attempted to run for Congress in New York but quickly withdrew from that race and somehow ended up as a first time panelist on Monday on CNN's NewsNight.
And that first time on Newnight will probably be his last time on CNN due to coming close to getting that network involved in a massive lawsuit by making, and then repeating, a scurrilous charge against President Trump and self-righteously finishing up with an encore act of snapping at regular panelist Scott Jennings that he is not allowed to say the term "illegal aliens."

Saying a complete lie “by accident” and then repeating it is a new low even on CNN. I wonder how many times this outrageous attack on President Trump will be quoted on the Internet until half the country believes that lie. I do hope that Kasky will be prosecuted.
Guys like him are referencing items included in the Epstein Files that were either later retracted or found by the FBI to be uncredible allegations submitted to their tip lines.
It is a dirty trick but they protect themselves by saying it was information publicly released even though the “allegations” are totally unproven or discredited.
This is a 25 year old queer activist. Why does CNN put someone like him on the air? I know why but its not serious journalism. Its kids playing at “point counterpoint” political brawling to get views, in part by feeding liberal rage. Its embarrassing that CNN puts a clown like this Kasky on a program with a serious, experienced journalist like Jennings.
Gotta hand it to Jennings. Quick thinker. We need more of them. Our guys are smart enough but they don’t have the gonads to call it out. Jennings did CNN a big favor by directing the host into the correction, something he wouldn’t do on his own.

That was a humiliating retraction? Sounded like smarmy self-righteous sarcasm to me.
For him, to make any kind of retraction was humiliating which is why he tried to ease the pain by being sarcastic. Ironically that sarcasm is going to cost him a lot in the impending lawsuit.
Two can play that game if we want to and talk about that hair-sniffing, shower-sharing, pervert Biden to explain his actions.
Journalists who have the public’s trust, don’t just say things by “accident”.
