Some fun facts:

1. The Insurrection Act has been invoked 30 times by 17 different presidents.

2. In fact, 37% of American presidents have invoked the Insurrection Act.

3. It was invoked to deal with rebellions and uprisings.

What are rebellions and uprisings?

Examples:

- Armed groups openly defied federal law

- State or local authorities could not or would not enforce federal law

- Violence or organized resistance threatened the authority of the federal government

- Courts were blocked, taxes couldn’t be collected, or officials were attacked

Media is still saying no one sent the National Guard or the troops to quell anything. After the Eisenhower school integration, LBJ Watts Riots in LA in 1965, LBJ Detroit 1967 Riots, Rodney King riots, a number of others later.

But dimwits will believe no President has been such an out of control tyrant as to ask for help to quell urban unrest.

After seeing those thugs steal the guns and paperwork out of the ICE vehicle, that’s the last straw. Time to bust some heads. Feck em!

Fox News and the Alt Conservative networks need to have newscasts where the history of such previous Presidential actions is pointed out.

But that would take legwork and reading. They prefer emotion, not recounting the news in its true historical context.

“Time for Trump to act.”

Ya THINK?

That damn Peace Prize dream is crippling him at home. Apparently, he believes that the only peace that counts is world peace. WE NEED PEACE IN AMERICA; that counts, too.

I may have been the first FReeper on board the Trump Train. (I was on board the POTUS Trump Train since 1990.) But he needs to focus.

Time for Trump to act.

Way past time, and if 47 finds the stones to actually act, some judge will rule against it, 47 will abide by the ruling, take the case to SCOTUS, and get a verdict months later.

Meanwhile rioters continue to riot ...

Putin showed the way, the Mad Mullahs of Iran picked up on it, now Walz & Co have picked it up, and like the others, play 47 for all he’s worth.

I say do it. Do it for its “teachable moment” value and let it be a lesson to them, however harsh. You don’t go around believing or just claiming that you’re engaged in peaceful protest when it’s really to agitate, antagonize and assail upon ICE agents, whether they’re on the clock or not, without having to learn the facts of life in America the hard way.

Time for Trump to act.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I think PDJT is holding off so he can include several states and cities in a planned Declaration of Insurrection.

So far we have Illinois, Oregon, Washington State,California Maine, and Minnesota that are likely on that list, with specific cities also in that mix.

When the Declaration of Insurrection is issued, it will be done late on a Friday night over a long weekend, so as to make it more difficult to stop the Declaration’s effect via court order. The necessary military units are likely already designated.

My guess is that it will come on Presidents Day , Feb 16th, 2026.

“The issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.”

This phrase suggests that the underlying motivations and goals of a movement or revolution are often more significant than the specific issues being addressed. It emphasizes the idea that revolutions are about broader societal change rather than just the immediate problems at hand
