All elected officials in Minnesota should be indicted. There is no way all did not know about this fraud and lined their pockets.
I did a quite a bit of research to try to verify whether Boelter’s wife worked for Walz. At the time she was claimed to have worked for him in DC she was actually older and raising her kids at home so it doesn’t make sense for her to have been in DC then. But there was another, younger woman who had her same name who was most likely the person who was an aide for Walz.
So that part of this claim doesn’t pass the smell test to me. That doesn’t mean that Boelter wasn’t contacted by Walz to assassinate this legislator. Boelter has been called crazy, but his story would/could make sense if he was targeted by MK-Ultra type operations, which is not outside the realm of possibility. There would definitely be a motive for Walz to target Hortman.

I know it sounds crazy. I don’t think the middle names were the same, just the first and last names. There was also another one with the same first and last names, that some MSm outlet suggested was the one, but that one didn’t make any sense either. The one that never got mentioned did make sense, but I was only able to find her by temporarily subscribing to a people-finder site. Wasted a bunch of time and ended up wasting a bunch of money too because the site automatically renewed the subscription for the next month even though their website didn’t say it would do that. sigh.
In the end the connection to Walz was made directly through the husband’s letter to the FBI. It doesn’t make sense to me that he would support genuinely conservative stuff and still think he had to do what Walz wanted him to do, unless there was some kind of black-ops stuff being done on him. If there was any credible evidence of such a thing, the FBI would absolutely bury it. So the chance for any real investigation was lost. I do believe Walz is a dirty rotten crook who is perfectly capable of what Boelter accuses him of, and that psy ops against Boelter - maybe sleep deprivation - could get him to do it.
When an article’s headline is a question, my rule is that it couldn’t be written as a fact (or it would have) and someone is covering their butt.

The shooter (alleged to be Vance Boelter, now in custody) had first attacked the Hoffmans, seriously wounding both of them. Then he went to an address of another legislator (Kristin Bahner) who was on holiday and so he had no response at the door and went on to park near the residence of another legislator, Ann Rest. A policeman arrived there, thought the shooter was an undercover cop sent for the same reason (a wellness check), but did not engage the shooter in conversation. This apparently spooked him and he then drove to the Hortman residence. Police arrived there at the same time (they were doing wellness checks on all potential targets after discovering the first incident, where the victims’ daughter had been in the house but not shot). Despite the presence of police, both Hortmans were fatally wounded and the shooter escaped, to be captured later.
It would help with context to know if Hoffman and the absent colleague (Bahner) and unapproached colleague (Rest) were also planning to vote with Hortman.
There are also the questions raised by how it could possibly have happened that Boelter would escape the scene with multiple police present from a time before the shootings occurred. This seeems odd to anyone hearing about it. This would be combined with the fact that a vehicle was left in the driveway containing lists of other potential targets who evidently do not all fit the profile of voting against Somali fraud (for example, two Somali legislators, and Klobuchar who was not involved in state legislative matters). Information about No Kings protests could have been there for the shooter to attend or to disrupt, motives are only alleged at this point. Since Boelter is in custody there will presumably be a trial and all these matters could be discussed including any claims Boelter and legal counsel may make about non-involvement (there are no reports they plan to do so at this point).
