Babylon Bee may have touched on something significant.
Islam venerates Mary as one of the most revered women in their religion, and Jesus as a Muslim prophet. Many in the Roman Catholic Church are trying to make her the co-redeemer with Christ.
Maybe the one religion pushed by the Anti-Christ and the false prophet will be a combination of these adherents and Islam in the future, demoting Christ to being just a great prophet. Why else would a previous Pope kiss the Koran.
