Secretary of State and National Security Advisor, Marco Rubio, delivers a passionate series of remarks in support of President Trump’s foreign policy.

Outlining the impact of federal policy under President Trump from the perspective of what is in America’s best interest, Rubio notes how foreign policy meshes with domestic policy and is specifically the combination of national security interests that secures prosperity for all American people.

“For the first time in four decades American foreign policy is based on what is in our interests,” Rubio notes. The entire segment is well presented. WATCH:

.

This level of authenticity is very difficult to fake. Secretary Rubio is an exceptional advocate for America’s interests.

One thing I like about Trump, is he’s completely pragmatic no matter the past business & political history with people.

Trump and Rubio went at in the 2016 Republican Primary with Orange Man upsetting the political establishment apple cart.
Now in 2025, Rubio is Trump’s Secretary of State.

Too early to say. But at this point, I’ll vote for Rubio over JD. Only because he has a better chance of winning.

Trump is getting better with recognizing talent compared to 2016.

I wonder what happened to all the FReepers who thought they spent enough time behind Rubio in foam baths to recognize him by the back of his head.

Rubio 2028?

****************

Maybe, it can’t be ruled out at this juncture.

My guess is he’ll cut a deal with Vance & continue on in his current roll.

Ideally, Rubio/Vance in 2028.

What I'll like to see is that Rubio, Vance, RFK Jr., Hegseth all stay for another term.

4 terms a veep? They’d make some jokes about that!

Who else we got on the bench?

DeSantis, Jim Jordan, if Stefanik became gov in ‘26 maybe her.

I didn't like Marco Rubio in 2015/2016.

Now? I love Marco Rubio. What he's doing as Secretary of State and carrying President Trump's vision forward with such passion and precision has really made me respect him greatly.

He speaks passionately, factually, is America First and I can honestly see him as President someday. He would be an excellent torch bearer for President Trump.

I'd say the same thing about JD Vance too. Both are unafraid to be America First.

I expected a lot out of SOS Rubio, and he has exceeded my expectations.

Trump must be very proud of the way that Rubio has attacked every task put on his plate.

Rubio has performed WAY beyond expectations....IMHO
