Which is funnier? Seeing an "authentic" Native American dance consisting of such moves as the Harlem Shuffle crossed over with the Spring Slide or watching shocked woke Garden Grove, CA school board members trying to stifle any reaction to that dance for fear of being thought culturally insensitive? If they smile or laugh they could be accused of the latter but by showing disapproval they could be accused of disrespect. So what to do? Best to just FREEZE and display no reaction while praying that the Native American displaying moves from the ancient era of the 70s and 80s when Disco ruled supreme would mercifully end the dance so they could pretend that what they saw never happened.
All that was missing in this unintentionally HILARIOUS entertainment was a Moonwalk as performed by Michael Jackson which he culturally appropriated form its originator, Marcel Marceau.
p.s. No Elizabeth Warrens were harmed during the making of this video.

I agree...What does this “dance” have to do with the school board in the first place????
That’s the shuffle dance with more costume. That dance is MUCH better when young girls do it in tight fitting shorts and crop top…so I’ve been told.
All I can think of is that they think they have to preview the dance before letting it be performed for the kids. Huge waste of time for all concerned IMO, but then that goes for just about every school assembly I ever had to attend. Once in a while, like on the last day of school before a vacation, they’d show a movie such as Treasure Island, which wasn’t usually too bad.
