Republican Florida Rep. Byron Donalds slammed New York City mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani on Wednesday, saying he has no authority to impose “international law.”
Mamdani doubled down on his vow to enforce the International Criminal Court’s arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he visits the city, repeating the position he announced before his election. Appearing on “Kudlow,” Donalds said Mamdani will take an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution and New York’s own laws when sworn in.
“Mamdani, I think, came out the other day and said that New York City is going to follow international law. Who the hell is he? He does not have the authority to do that,” Donalds told host Larry Kudlow. “When he gets sworn in as the next mayor of New York, he’s still in that oath going to pledge allegiance to the Constitution to protect the laws of the city of New York and of the United States. That’s part of the oath.”
Donalds added that the progressive lawmaker’s vow to ignore U.S. law in favor of international law shows exactly what happens when voters elevate an untested radical with no record of real work or governance.
“What is this guy doing? This is what happens when you elect a radical who’s never had a job, who’s never done anything constructive in his life except be in the New York Assembly and go on TikTok. Now you got a guy who’s saying that New York City won’t follow the laws of the United States. It will follow international law. That is insanity. So, unfortunately, this is going to come to a conflict, politically and legally, and Zohran Mamdani is going to lose,” Donalds added.
Donalds said voters across the political spectrum are alarmed by Democrats’ hard-left turn.
“They’re getting a lot louder. I’m not sure about larger because I think you have Democrat-registered voters in our country who love America, and they’re looking at this on the radical side of their party and saying, ‘This is crazy. I didn’t sign up for this,’” Donalds said.
Mamdani previously blasted Netanyahu, accusing him of waging “a genocidal war” in a message marking the anniversary of Oct. 7. While he briefly acknowledged Hamas’ “horrific war crime,” he shifted quickly to faulting Israel and said that the United States “has been complicit through it all.”
Mamdani campaigned on an aggressive left-wing agenda that would cap housing costs, mandate a $30 hourly wage and introduce city-operated food markets and transit options. He also pledged to boost taxes on high earners and major companies while launching a new unit of social workers to handle non-violent emergency calls in place of police.

Mamdani will enforce whatever laws he wishes to enforce

Sharia Law perhaps?

Right. I have no idea how much of the NYPD will blindly follow Mamdani. But there will be enough.
So if Jew-hater Mamdani orders a squad of officers to go to an airport and arrest Netanyahu, that’s exactly what will happen.
Then the ball is in Trump’s court. He‘ll have to order the US Marshals in to free Netanyahu. Or maybe use the National Guard.
That’s when the fun will really begin.
Many New York City dwellers/voters can be the smartest people. Many not so much
Quite a lot are not acquainted with or care about the declaration and the constitution. I am guessing. As a New York native who attended many funerals of conservatives born ion NYC in the 19 aughts, turning in their graves at Gate of Heaven cemetery Let’s see how much they let this guy get away with.
But he went and learned all the lyrics and verses of ‘The Internationale’ ‘n everything.
Perhaps a video from NY conservatives telling NYC police they should not obey orders if they feel the orders are illegal?
I think we probably need to take bets now on which building New Yorkers will use for Mamdani to do the Mussolini Dance from.
Its not gonna go the way he plans.
Maybe a bridge.
😁 Two can play at that game.

It won’t get that far. Netanyahu travels with his own Israeli security who won’t allow him to be arrested.
I think it’s an idle threat. Netanyahu would not be flying into NY any time soon. DC maybe.
Just another step toward a total communist government
I doubt our own secret service group who work visiting heads of state would
allow it either.
Although some asshole foreign born district judge might rule against it
” ... I think you have Democrat-registered voters in our country who love America ... “
Name one.
One!

Israeli security would ignore the judge. Although they might invite him to visit Israel to discuss his ruling.
He needs to be removed from office.
Somehow.
Article I section 10
No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal...
...
No State shall, without the Consent of Congress...enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War
Only one solution to this raghead scum: tap-tap...
