The Wicked: For Good press tour was abruptly suspended in New York City just days before the movie’s release, with Hollywood outlets claiming Cynthia Erivo “lost her voice” and Ariana Grande refused to continue press appearances without her.
But the official narrative isn’t sitting well with online observers. After all, since when does a singer temporarily losing her voice require a full-blown solidarity pact from her co-star, complete with the studio shutting down scheduled interviews?
It’s a question fans, influencers, and industry watchers have been asking nonstop since the news broke. Speculation has only intensified because the Wicked press tour had already become something of a spectacle for reasons Universal probably didn’t anticipate.
Long before the Wicked: For Good press tour was pulled, fans noticed something unusual about the promotional circuit. Instead of straightforward discussions about the film, fans were treated to a highlight reel of baffling moments featuring Grande and Erivo seemingly locked in their own private wavelength — one that didn’t always translate to the rest of the audience. How the heck is Cynthia Erivo a movie star?
Her full name: Cynthia Chinasaokwu Onyedinmanasu Amarachukwu Owezuke Echimino Erivo
She is not a star per se, but someone who fits the role. She does have an extensive resume.
She Nigerian via England, born in Stockwell, London, England.
I recall that they pooled together $50.
That’s not a name. It’s an eye chart.
Those two just creep me out
For her own reasons, Ariana G. seems to like chumming around with ugly or visually unappealing people.
Her most recent fiance resembled a smiling Troll. Her new best black friend resembles Gandi, but with a nose ring and in a ball gown. Everyone has a type, if they are allowed to find one.
Is there a reason that Eriva has no hair? Does she have cancer?

That’s what’s going on.
The title of the movie is creepy, the actors are creepy...
Best to leave the movie alone for your own good.
I watched a few minutes of Wicked last night.
The green witch looked like Shreck’s daughter if he had one.
The whole thing was 3.5 hours, no thanks.
Probably because she’s so sickly and cadaverous looking she’s trying to make herself look good by comparison. I can’t see her as ever posing a threat to the likes of Sydney Sweeny, but your mileage may vary.

Sydney has a great body, neck down, butterface!
I can easily see how her features will develop as she ages.
All that said, she’s having a moment in Hollywood right now, so I’m glad for her. I would guess about 97.5% of young actors never do have their “moment” of fame on that level, having talent and skill is only a part of the battle to become a known Brand.
