Is it xenophobic or Islamophobic? Yes.
Is it discrimination based on religion? Yes.
Is it intolerant and exclusive? Yes.
This is a case where if you're too open minded, your brain is going to fall out of your head, to be more accurate, your head might fall off the body.
Islam is by doctrine a violent, oppressive, expansionist way of seeing the world.
It's the way they are historically, it's in their Quran, it's the reality almost everywhere they have a majority, it's reflected in their opinion polls, it's what you see when they mix with any other religion, ethnic group, race, socially liberal or conservative society.
Bringing in millions of Muslims like Merkel and Obama did, amounts to us inviting the wolf that wants to eat us into our home.
Should we allow geographic pockets of Islamic culture to form in the US? Only if you want Islamic values to coexist in parallel with classic and traditional US and Western values?
These will become areas where Islamic values (((SUPERCEDE))) basic constitutional tenets. These will become national security “high risk” areas.
I say this as someone who's been to Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Morocco, Spanish Sahara, Israel. I've had Muslims working for me for 14 years and interpretors in the Army. I have personal friends that I stay in touch with that are Muslim...
You can make the argument that I am close minded because of my military experiences (multiple combat tours) but I do not think that to be the case.
I don't think my view is bigotry, rather fairly objective based, not on my personal experience, but what you see historically, in their doctrine (Quran), around the world where they have a majority, in their opinion polls... I don't think the majority of Americans realize that OBL was seen as a hero, not a terrorist by the majority in Pakistan. That's why he was hiding out there.
The world is not like this dreamed up inclusive paradise we make it out as, where all the evil stems from white Christian, heterosexual males, where we even blame the 9-11 attacks on ourselves in some round about way, blame the Crusades on us.

Germans eat pork. Pork isn’t allowed in Islam.
Germans love their beer (huge beer tradition). Booze isn’t allowed in Islam.
Germans are very open minded about nudity. Many of your spas, lakes, pools are 1/2 nude and in the summer you can see folks sunbathing. Islam requires women to cover up.
Germans have free speech. Islam believes that isn’t acceptable if your talking about anything critical of Mohammed or Islam.
Germans believe in equal rights for women. They are making advances in many Islamic countries, in Saudi Arabia they recently were permitted to drive a car! In some Islamic countries a woman can leave a home without a male family escort.
Germans are tolerant of LGBTQIA rights. In many places that could earn you a free flight off a roof top in the Middle East.
Germans believe in religious freedom. No such think in Islam.
In Merkels brain, how do you accommodate Islam with Western liberal culture? She’s no different that one of those kids with an LGBTQIA flag that says “free Palestine.”
Seriously, where did the pressure or what’s the argument that made her bring 1.4 million Syrians into Germany? Is it some form of ethical superiority based on “Heuchelei?”. Those sharia courts only hear civil matters like divorce or contract disputes.
