The Truth Hidden No Longer, Ukraine Will Suffer Strategic Defeat /Lt Col Daniel Davis
Daniel Davis Deep Dive ^ | 11/17/2025 | Daniel Davis

"Danny argues that the truth about the Ukraine–Russia war can no longer be concealed: Ukraine is heading toward a strategic and battlefield defeat, a reality now acknowledged even by strongly pro-Ukraine voices like journalist Julian Röpcke. According to the commentary:

Western and Ukrainian leaders have long misrepresented battlefield conditions, offering “PR” optimism while ignoring deteriorating realities.

Russia prioritized destroying Ukraine’s armed forces over capturing territory, but is now accelerating territorial gains as Ukrainian capacity collapses.

Ukrainian reports and government messaging continue to “sugarcoat” the situation, preventing honest assessment and prolonging unnecessary losses.

Russia maintains overwhelming advantages in drones, glide bombs, long-range strike systems, and air superiority. Massive Russian daily strike numbers illustrate Ukraine’s inability to match or stop them.

Western military aid—tanks, APCs, some long-range weapons—has proven ineffective because modern warfare is dominated by drones, manpower, and air control.

The West has failed to provide the “millions” of drones Ukraine would need, and long-range weapons deliveries were too limited to alter strategic balance.

Sanctions and economic pressure on Russia have also failed to achieve intended results.

France’s announcement of 100 fighter jets for Ukraine is criticized as politically symbolic and militarily irrelevant, since deliveries won’t occur until 2035—far too late to influence the war.

Overall, the speaker concludes that ignoring battlefield reality only ensures more Ukrainian casualties, more destroyed cities, and further Russian advance—an outcome that was predictable from the war’s early stages."

I like his show, and you get a fair up front appraisal. But anybody with a half and honest brain would know the situation in Ukraine. It was written on the wall large last year. But knowing it and admitting are two different things. And if people are really that blind by partisanship, heaven help us if they are in power.

Too many observers, Ukraines strategy has been to gradually give up territory so as to maximize Russian casualties.

Both sides have been engaged in continual information warfare.

It is expected. The first casualty of war is the truth.

I see Zelensky is on another European begging tour, and was just in France with the other faggot Macron, signing a deal to purchase French jets. He was also in Greece, and signed a deal to import U.S. liquified gas to Greece. He's also heading to Spain.

Top Ukraine officials, some who are close associates of Zelensky's were recently caught taking kickbacks from Ukraine energy firms. What did Zelensky know, and when did he know it?

This “conflict” was decided before the first shot was fired.

Ukraine does not have and never has had the population, GDP, natural resources nor manufacturing base to go toe to toe with Russia.

The only chance they had was for a western power decide to step in front of them and take up the fight. Which obviously no one is willing to do.

The rest has been smoke and mirrors at the expense of all those young men’s lives.

Russia was not about to allow the humiliating defeat of losing a war with Ukraine. The Ukes have done a good job of making Russia pay a price but it was always just a matter of where the new border will be.

What a waste.
So many Ukrainian men and women have valiantly fought an unequal battle and sacrificed their lives.
The Ukrainian soldier should bow to no one but the Lord.
The west put up a Slavic bum fight only to get their asses handed to them in a war of attrition.
What a waste.

He also works for a think tank financed by two billionaires in 2016 who do business in Russia, and who have an interest in supporting Russian foreign policy and aggression. Their family history of doing business in Russia goes back to Stalin’s time.

Ukraine does not have and never has had the population, GDP, natural resources nor manufacturing base to go toe to toe with Russia.

You could have said the same thing about Finland during the Winter War.

So far, both wars are pretty similar. The Russians are taking territory. But they are taking heavy casualties. Eventually, the war will end in a ceasefire. Putin will call it a win and that will be that.

Shhh

Don’t tell the people posting misinformation on Democrat message boards.

They’re currently doubling down on a great Ukrainian victory over Russia , while chasing an ‘Epsteinpalooza’ into another Trump rabbit hole.

It’s amazing how the Trump Era has them completely “off the rails.”

It makes me happy.😀👍

--- "He also works for a think tank financed by two billionaires in 2016 who do business in Russia, and who have an interest in supporting Russian foreign policy and aggression. Their family history of doing business in Russia goes back to Stalin's time."

A fascinating comment.

A link to refine the above assertion:

"The Defense Priorities Foundation, also known as Defense Priorities, is an American foreign policy think tank based in Washington, D.C., that advocates for more restrained US foreign policy.

"Defense Priorities was established in early 2016 by supporters of United States Senator Rand Paul and funded by conservative donors Charles Koch and his brother David Koch. Early leadership included William P. Ruger of the Charles Koch Institute and Edward King of a pro-Paul political action committee. The organization was founded to advance Paul's foreign policy views, which argued for a 'more prudent, restrained' United States foreign policy." More....

Defense Priorities Wiki

As one thinks of "a think tank," one could have been clear. Without the specifics, the characterization of that "think tank" is different by the manner in which the information -- or lack thereof -- is presented.

Similarly, a recipient of two Bronze stars who retired at the rank of lieutenant colonel and is an American citizen can have a political stance different than another American's. Those "two billionaires" are in fact "two American billionaires."

Some Freepers are Rand Paul enthusiasts and some are not. Given one of the Vindman brothers now is elected to the US Congress, there are differences of political opinion.

There's a ISW and there's a Defense Priorities. Differing views from two very nearby think tanks. In America.
