“Do you have any understanding of human nature or psychology at all?”

I have a lot of such understanding.

What are your big expenses, Mr. Needy?

rent
car insurance

Why is car insurance expensive so expensive?

Doors and bodywork that is too elaborate to just pound out.

Bumpers that cost over $1000 that will crack when hit at 6mph.

If you think the expense of food is a really big problem poverty has never been a major problem personally.

Since you asked ... There should not be ANY office in our beloved USA that is not contested by USA Patriots! RINOS, DINOS, COMMIES! We want a guy/gal out there - Give people a choice and our stance. Just a suggestion.
Ms. Liz? Relax! I won't bother you everyday. ;-)

“asking why the Democrats keep doing this to people”

to help fund $2,000/month PPACA premiums, most often for next to nothing

Over a decade that’s $240,000.

You may now go back to handing out 50 cent cans of green beans.

Good;

No, yes, no; working FT and there were no elections here

Your questions are most relevant for New Jersey and Virginia; perhaps the men are less likely to vote in off year elections and the women are angry.

Now that the elections are over and the demonrats have destroyed NYC and beyond, they’ll soon vote for the budget and open the country back up. They get recess but little school kids can’t have recess. They all get paid for not working unlike the rest of the country. Speaking of, why aren’t the air traffic controllers and other such employees not at work since they’re going to get their back pay anyway and this would be the perfect excuse to show up for their shifts and impress the boss to maybe get a raise or promotion rather than sitting on their thumbs as people keep dying.

Have to agree with getting the GOP out there handing out food. But they might serve America better by going through the 42,000,000 SNAP recipients and however many on SS disability to weed out the liars. I tried twice to report someone who’s been getting disability for decades who is most definitely not anywhere close to being disabled. Yes, I’ve known this person half my life so I do know. SSI only wanted to know every detail about me and zero about the liar. I finally gave up.

none of what you say do i disagree with.

trouble is the normies don’t eat sleep and drink this stuff.
the fight on all fronts ought include fighting for the attention and buyin and the warm and fuzzies of the vast herds of people that vote on feeeeeeelings as Rush used to say.

That said we got what we got so yeah fight like samurais. I’m on that side too.

thanks for engaging in discussion.

Where is the GOP?

Hiding behind the Dems, more interested in keeping their political future than ensuring America's future as a Free Constitutional Republic.

Michael Whatley, former RNC candidate and President Trump’s choice to replace retiring GOP US Senator Thom Tillis in the 2026 election, is almost invisible in the state. Meanwhile the Democrat candidate, former Governor Roy Cooper is running around the state courting the press and raising money.

Cooper raised $14.5 million in the last quarter compared to Whatley’s $6 million. The race is expected to be the most expensive Senater race in US history. Estimates are the two candidates will spend $600 million or more.

Whatley is a political insider, well known in GOP national political circles and to big GOP donors, but not well known to voters in North Carolina. Roy Cooper, who was twice elected governor (2014 and 2020) and received more votes in both years than Donald Trump who was on the presidential ballot and won the state. Cooper has almost 100% name recognition in the state.

If Whatley is spending his time quietly raising money, instead of criss crossing the state to meet voters, he may be making a strategic mistake. So far Cooper seems able to out fund raise Whatley while also speaking out publicly on issues around the state. The Republican opposition to continuing Obamacare subsidies, and the current shutdown’s impact on SNAP are two issues Cooper is pounding hard.

North Carolina is a “must flip” state for the Democrats and past elections have been very close. The left will pour several hundred million into this race. Hopefully the GOP has a plan to increase Whatley’s profile and name recognition across the state. The question is when?
