Republicans keep waiting on Democrats to accept their clean CR bill and move on with a vote to reopen the government, but they won't do it. They want perks in there.
Well, JD Vance is here to give the "Dad" explanation as to why Republicans aren't going to cave on this one.

If we say, 'yes, of course, we'll give you everything you want if you reopen the government,' you know what's going to happen? In three months, they are going to come back to the administration and they're again going to say 'we're going to shut down the aviation industry, we're going to deny SNAP unless you give us exactly what you want' -- that's how a child behaves! That is not how a responsible governing party behaves in the United States of America.
Got that, ladies and gents?
Democrats -- not ordinary Americans, but the politicians -- are acting like children. They're whining so they can get what they want.
And JD Vance just told you why that's not gonna happen.

Tempting as it is, in reality there is no 100% purity in politics. There’s always give and take. Now, how much you get and what you let go to reach it is part the nagotiaton and power you hold.

They are stuck with a Hobson’s choice, cave and pass the CR and be humiliated, or stay obstinate and suffer the wrath of their voters..............

In this instance l disagree. There should be no “give and take”. It is the same CR the rats agreed to when their President had control. The Republicans are not asking for anything.
