Not sure how I got on a Democratic text message solicitation, but I constantly am getting messages from various Democratic candidates using ActBlue. Never signed up for it. I’m constantly blocking new text messages soliciting donations. How do you get off once and for all of a Spam text message situation

For $5/month, you could be a mole.
Change you phone number.
Does it have an “unsubscribe” option?
Otherwise you may want to set a rule for everything that comes from it to just go into the trash bin automatically.
Could also be a fraudulent e-mail (of a different sort than being asked to donate to Democrats - as in not legitimately from ActBlue).
I get them too!
Very frustrating!

Otherwise you may want to set a rule for everything that comes from it to just go into the trash bin automatically - or set to have anything from that number blocked to automatically delete the text - however it works on your phone.
Could also be a fraudulent Text (you said text, not e-mail) (of a different sort than being asked to donate to Democrats - as in not legitimately from ActBlue).
Reply “Make America Great Again” to it?
All I can say is “good luck”
Back in the lead-in to the 2016 election, a friend of mine thought it would be a funny prank to sign me up for every political email list, left or right wing, he could think of.
The two I keep having to actively slap down and request unsubscribes from? The RNC and ActBlue.
(Heck, Communist Party USA required me to send an email to them to unsubscribe, but they did so quickly and with an acknowledgement email that was clearly written by a human being)
I love it!
I don’t use a cell phone for any business, and I don’t download games or ‘apps’.
If you restrict your cell phone as far as you possibly can, you don’t get so much of this crap.
I don’t get ActBlue, but every year during election time, I get multiple text messages claiming to be from Republican politicians. I block them and report them as junk, but they change the phone number each time, and send more. My email program allows me to block junk email messages by creating specific rules. When an email shows up in my inbox, the program will automatically delete emails because I created a rule to get rid of it. There should be an option to create rules for text messages too.
And you kept that person as a friend?
Well if that doesn’t give Act Blue the clue to stop texting you, nothing will.
I only use my iPhone for phone calls and the occasional text message to confirm doctor appointments or script refills. I don't do any transactions on my phone, don't access my bank on it, don't play games, don't watch videos or tv on it, don't use the email program, and don't have any apps on it that didn't come on the phone. Most of the options in the settings, I've turned off, yet I still get junk texts from time to time, and especially during election cycles, which I block and report as junk.
Or better yet have them go to the Liberal Tears folder
I wish I had an answer. Somehow ActBlue got my telephone number and thinks I am my relative.
Republicans aren’t any better…now Democrats AND Republicans start texting at 8:01 AM and don’t stop until about 9:00 PM.
Every single day.
Block one number and they use another.
I just say “we want money!” and hit mute.
Coworkers think that’s funny.
I have hit unsubscribe or STOP BUT YOU WONDER IF THAT LETS SOME SPAM BUT KNOW THAT THERE’S A LIVING HUMAN BEING AT THE OTHER END OF THE TEXT.
Tell them you will never give them money? And...you will find ways to COST them money?
I have heard that is exactly what happens...you unsubscribe and they know they have a live one.
Send them the link of jelly legs Clinton being stuffed into an SUV.
