God bless Trump for temporarily stopping the bloodshed since Hamas who launched the bloody attack was being pummeled and was willing to take a deal although we all know that Israel is surrounded by Muslim countries that want to destroy Israel.
This “peace’ will only be until the Islamist Jihadists see an opportunity to attack Israel again.
Nothing else that Trump or anyone else can do about it. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Israel, be on the alert and OBTW, come to Jesus Christ your TRUE protector and deliverer.
Thanks for the post. It was really a good speech and truly inspiring how this has all come about. I think the right countries/leaders are behind this and there will be hell to pay if someone tries to sabotage it.
This president has 5 kids, 3 baby mamas, a mugshot and lives in govt housing.
Liberals still hate him.
Certainly agree, jacknhoo, it was a great performance by our President. And notice how he praises all the key leaders at the table. And it's far more than a simple "thank you". He briefly explains how each of them contributed to the mission's success. I laughed when he called Turkey's president Erdogan a "tough cookie". Bwa ha ha! The New Yorker in our President comes out at the right moments. Erdogan probably didn't understand what "tough cookie" meant, but back in Istanbul, somebody will tell him and a slight grin will appear on his grim face. And thinking back to all his Oval Office meetings, you notice our President always uses the opportunity to praise someone for what they accomplished. You can bet those moments will be remembered by the recipient for the rest of their lives. |
“”This president has 5 kids, 3 baby mamas, a mugshot and lives in govt housing.””””
Don’t forget “convicted felon”.
Yeah, President Trump even commended the media. And said it was probably too much to ask for them to be like that all the time, hahaha.
Point of interest: The word "cookie" comes from the Dutch word "Koekje," pronounced "kook-yeah." When the British took over New Amsterdam, thankfully the word cookie stuck, and we didn't end up with the word "biscuit," which is what the Brits call cookies. Can you imagine President Trump saying that Erdogan was a "tough biscuit"?
Ha! Excellent history lesson, mass55th. One time I listened to David McCullough's terrific book, 1776. The book brought the Revolutionary War to life. And I remember the part about George Washington's army in New York (New Amersterdam) being nearly surrounded by the British troops and also British Navy ships owning the harbor (The Battle of Long Island). But Washington's army of 9,000 barely escaped by rafts in the middle of the night. God forbid. If Washington's escape failed, we'd be British subjects today eating biscuits... not cookies :- ) |
Enjoyed the cookie/biscuit dialogue.
I read McCullough’s book many years ago. It is an excellent book. I also recently read “His Excellency: George Washington” by Joseph J. Ellis. Throughout the book, I couldn’t help but think of President Trump, as I believe he and President Washington were similar in several ways.
