The Arab states that screamed “genocide” at Israel were simultaneously deepening security ties with the IDF — because they all knew it was a lie.
WASH POST Arab states expanded cooperation with Israeli military during Gaza war, files show David Kenner October 11, 2025
Even as key Arab states condemned the war in the Gaza Strip, they quietly expanded security cooperation with the Israeli military, leaked U.S. documents reveal. Those military ties were thrown into crisis after Israel’s September airstrike in Qatar, but could now play a key role in overseeing the nascent ceasefire in Gaza. Over the past three years, facilitated by the United States, senior military officials from Israel and six Arab countries came together for planning meetings in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan and Qatar.
Despite strong condemnations from the Arab world towards Israel's military activity in the Gaza Strip, the State of Israel, and especially the IDF, have actually used the last few months to deepen cooperation with the senior and important Arab countries in the region. Leaked American documents reveal a different picture than what is seen in the public arena: not only has cooperation continued, but it has even expanded, including with Arab countries that are considered particularly hostile to Israel.
The documents, published yesterday (Saturday) in the Washington Post, show how countries such as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates secretly held military coordination with Israel - some within their territory. All this took place while they publicly condemned the Israeli fighting in Gaza, and accused Israel of war crimes, deliberate starvation and even "genocide," as the Emir of Qatar said from the UN stage.
What is hidden behind the condemnations? The security relationship between the parties has been building in recent years at the initiative of the US Army's Central Command (Centcom), and mainly with the aim of dealing with the Iranian threat. According to the documents, the cooperation included planning meetings in Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt and even at the US Al-Udeid Air Force Base in Qatar. Among other things, training was held on threats such as underground tunnels - a threat well known to Israel, which is skilled and specialized in dealing with it, and can share a great deal of knowledge on the subject.
In May 2024, senior Israeli officials arrived at the base in Qatar on a direct and secret flight - bypassing civilian border crossings, so as not to attract public attention and to maintain a low profile. Qatar is indeed one of the most publicly critical and antagonistic countries towards Israel, but behind the scenes it maintains close ties with Israel, both at the political and security levels. The fact that it is one of the main US allies in the region has a decisive contribution to this.
On paper: not a new covenant. Despite all the collaboration, the documents seek to emphasize beyond any doubt: This is not an official military alliance, and all meetings are intended to remain confidential. One document even included explicit instructions to avoid photography, not to reveal any details to the media, and to observe cultural sensitivities such as maintaining kosher - both Jewish and Muslim.
However, the partnership that was formed includes unprecedented defense coordination - air defense systems, intelligence sharing, underground warfare training, encrypted communications between the militaries, and even plans to establish a regional cyber center and an information sharing center.
The crisis that clouds the future of relations. One of the most notable breaking points was the Israeli attack on Doha...
At the same time, these countries depend on the US for security purposes, and are also afraid of the Iranian influence that continues to cast a heavy shadow over the entire region. Thus, they find themselves "forced," willingly or unwillingly, to maneuver between support for the Palestinians and cooperation with Israel, especially in the security arena.
Security dependency. In parallel with the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, in which it was agreed upon to release the hostages and a partial withdrawal from Gaza, the US sent forces to Israel intended to support the agreement - and they are also expected to be joined by soldiers from Arab and Muslim countries as part of the tightening security cooperation. In addition, these countries have already expressed support for Trump's plan to stabilize the region, which also includes the establishment of an international force to train a new Palestinian police force in Gaza.
Despite this, most countries have no real intention of sending ground forces to Gaza, due to the political sensitivity and security complexity of what is happening on the ground.
Although this is not a new collaboration, this report reveals new dimensions of the depth of the partnership between Israel and the Arab states, even at the height of the war in Gaza. While those states do not hesitate to publicly condemn Israel and criticize it very harshly - in practice they rely on its security assistance extensively. https://www.mako.co.il/news-world/2025_q4/Article-192b0be81f6d991027.htm
Amir Tsarfati kept telling us that most of what was reported about the Arab world’s reactions to anything Israel was just for show and that deep down inside and in private, they were supporting Israel.
All their words and press releases were just what was expected of them to officially say.
Amir was right all along. They serve one dish for their masses and do what they gotta do under the table .
The Arab / Muslim regimes reign over low IQ violent tribal savages (not all but most). Every tyranny requires a boogeyman. The Jews will work nicely in that neck of the woods. A people that were nearly wiped out turned a barren sand box in to a thriving high tech paradise while most arabs live in their violent s holes. So, the sheiks and kings and weirs can all just blame the Jews because if their subjects bothered to learn the truth their regimes and royal families would be wiped out.
Yes, there is a difference between the public line, and the private line.
Wouldn’t it be good if the Western governments would understand this, or if they already know this, it would be great if they stopped to try to influence their low intelligence voters by public lies about what is happening in the ME.
1) Since the war in Gaza there have been abt 30 some thousand deaths. Terrible. But, LAST year ALONE, Planned Parenthood claimed there were almost 400,000 babies IN AMERICA exterminated. I think American women are the ones committing GENOCIDE.
2) Dems call us Nazis and Hitler and Fascists, but THEY are the ones wanting the Jews exterminated. Look at the University’s and rioters. So, Actually THEY are the Nazis, Fascists AND Hitler.
The level of cynicism among Arab states is remarkable. Plus, not a single one of them wants anything to do with the Palestinians. No less than 6 of them already kicked them out.

The MAIN problem with the “Arab world” is what they like to call the “Arab street”.
The 22 Arab countries ruled by dictators, Kings, repressive ideologues or death cult Islam all suffer from the same problem (mind you, the Rich Arab Gulf states do the same things but with finesse):
1) No freedom
2) No fair elections
3) State security apparatus that silence (kill) opposition.
4) Nasty physical repression and torture
5) Economic hardship for the masses
6) Overcrowding, urban blight and decay
7) Secrecy and internal spying
8) No prospects for future improvement.
9) Poor education except in Mosques.
10) Propaganda day and night against outside (pretend) threats like Israel and Zionism.
11) Regimes keep their populations seething with anger and hate towards Israel, this in turn, takes the heat off their corrupt regimes.
12) Extreme cronyism and “protection” for higher ranking officials.
So, when they need to take the heat off, they launch wars and hope their own people wil not revolt.
THIS is the problem in the Middle East!
6) Stagnant economies
6)
The Arabs have a problem. The people running the state have to deal with reality, which means cooperation with Israel if they want to stay in power. At the same time, they have to keep up appearances that they’re anti-Jewish, sort of like the Democrats support gun control on the surface, but never really do anything effective about it when they’re in power. They pass the occasional law here and there that sticks around long enough to give them street cred, then goes away.
There’s nothing honest about Arab or Democrat policy and actions. If there was, they’d both lose their constituents overnight.
The average British Standard IQ in Gaza is 67.9 . That is a stunningly low number
By comparison, the average British Standard IQ of Arabs on the West Bank is 84.6 which is low but brilliant compared to Gaza
That explains a lot
Uh, the leaders in the Western world are the ones who are manufacturing the false genocide narrative
This explains the sweetheart deal President Trump signed giving Qatar our military protection with no qualifying circumstances outlined.
It appears we’re in a race between the Middle East embracing practicality over Islam or mass ruination of the region and terrorism amplified world wide.
The former Soviet Union had a similar problem and took the wiser path, letting their own false ideology fall into “the dustbin of history”. Unfortunately very few of them were as fanatical as the average follower of Islam - each a walking time bomb awaiting their opportunity of Jihadic action.
I don’t like that treaty but trust our man’s mastery of the 3-D chessboard that he’s managed so well...thus far.
Bravo to the Israelis for not being Simon-purists.
Nobody wants a weaponized population entering their country.
