Well, every once in a while, the democRATS and DemoKKKrats do sacrifice one of their own.
In the regular, day-to-day democRAT universe, rules, regulations, laws and statutes are for “others.”
Back in the 1990s, Dan Rostenkowski was convicted and served time for what was then called the House Post Office Scandal.
Rostenkowski was dumbfounded, so much so that he stated something very close to: “Hell, everybody is doing it!”
When Newt Gingrich and the Republicans took over the House of Representatives in 1994, for the first time in 40 years, there were several slush funds that were done away with.
The House Post Office Scandal involved legislators receiving “gifts” of A LOT OF STAMPS. Those stamps would be cashed in at the Post Office.
The other scandal was the House Bank. Legislators would write/cash personal checks with future dates. The House Bank would provide the cash, but not deposit the check until the next payday. Basically an interest free loan.
When the Republicans put an end to the Post Office and House Bank, the people using this illegal system were none too happy.
PS - yes, yes, I know that there were Republicans using, abusing this way. With the democRATs, nothing was ever going to change. With someone like President Trump remaking the Republican Party, there is a chance for honorable people to succeed, in and out of government.
Isn’t karma great? and in Hebrew, Middah k’neged Middah, Oy vey! (sorta like: what goes around comes around)
Reminds me of when Ponderosa steakhouse trademarked Bonanza steakhouse’s brand name to put the squeeze on them, forgetting that they had not trademarked their own brand name.
The laughable thing is that, if she were not guilty, she could prove her case to the obliging press in under five minutes with two or three documents... But that won’t happen, because Sasquatch face is a fraud.
@TishJames
Looks like your handlers chose the wrong tool - you make Trump look like an angel...
The bank itself said that it was not defrauded by Trump, but that didn’t matter for the politicized judge.
